This was so utterly adorable. I would never think about pairing a golden retriever puppy with a Death Eater, but if anyone could softened a Death Eater's heart, it would be a puppy.
I loved your portrayal of Narcissa and how, even despite Lucius' feelings, she did what she felt was right. I loved the fact that you gave her a backbone. In way too many stories, she's written as meek who allows her husband to push her around. Not in your story.
And the name...
Well, I could just imagine Bellatrix's reaction if she got out of Azkaban in this AU and discovered a dog was named after her. That would be hilarious.
