I just read chapter 2 and the part about it being easier for him to trace. I have no idea if this is the way you’re going with this, but: Gaia doesn’t hamper Shirou’s ability to trace. His mundane projections actually lasted for months, maybe years, in fate/stay night. Again, if this isn’t where you’re going with this, sorry about assuming. If this is the way you’re going, saying that mana suffuses the air because Remnant is still in the Age of Gods is probably a better way to go about slightly buffing Shirou to sustain UBW and repeatedly project without Rin’s mana to help.

Even if we know the logical choice is to keep card hidden as long as possible we all know Shirou is not the type to do that. Archer might do it because he is pragmatic like that but this Shirou is still a bit naive with thought process that you show it this far

Well written, but I'll be dropping out here. UBW (or any Route for that matter) always results in Shirou going about his ideals in a healthier way. In UBW specifically, Shirou, confronted with Archer and the end of the road, doesn't go down that road believing he can make it, that "he will saving everyone", but rather "Saving everyone he can". Going less naively down that road, he doesn't run face first into the metaphorical wall that Archer did (and Archer then kept going because he made the deal) and instead thinks "So, this is my limit huh ?".
Your Shirou being like he is, he feels like Shirou before the F/SN, except for a bit more awareness than before (not that changes anything, the reason Shirou was so antagonistic with Archer is because he already knew and just didn't want to admit). So this feels a bit repetitive.

"I have this story planned until the very last chapter." This is what you said last chapter. Yet, somehow, after over a year of since posting there is only four chapters.

You haven't even broken 15k words.

There's writers on here that break 50k inside of a month without, allegedly, having the entire story planned out. People who also have "RL stuff", and work, and school, and whatever other excuses most FFnet writers use to try justifying their lack of progress.

You can do better than that. I doubt many people will stay invested in this story if this is the rate at which it is being written. It's just not worth it. You need to upload regularly if you expect to actually gain anything resembling a following of readers. Otherwise, everyone will just forget this story and wonder what the hell is that story about when they receive an alert for an update in six months because there was so little to it that it didn't make a lasting impression.

For a moment I thought it was actually some sort of dream-slash-vision of Shirou's rather than something happening in the physical world. It's actually quite like him to notice but simply refuse to acknowledge such things.
