I want to read where Sam and Dean actually tell Jess about his "family business",what her reaction is, and maybe one or two cases that Jess actually involved

Great spin on canon. And oh boy, is this chapter foreboding or what?

Oh, this ending makes me so sad. The whole chapter was so light and happy, just the three of them together. I love that Dean and Jess are brotherly-sisterly, it makes so much sense for them to gang up on Sam and worry over him together.
"Soon, he tells himself. He'll see them again soon" - and I know that's not true. It's heartbreaking! Poor Jess, poor Sam, poor Dean. None of them know what's coming.
I'd been hoping you wouldn't kill Jess, for the sake of my heart, and technically you didn't but I just know that things went the way they did in the Pilot. I don't know a lot about epilepsy, but I do know stress can make it worse, so poor Sam would be really unwell after Jess dies (especially since he had trouble sleeping around that time)
I'm just thinking of Dean trying so hard to make sure Sam's okay, but Sam keeps getting thrown hurdles and both of them would struggle so much with Sam's disability on top of everything Azazel throws their way.
Okay I'm rambling... I'm feeling too many emotions about this.
Anyway, I loved this little instalment to this 'verse. I loved the dynamic and the dialogue and the hurt!Sam. It was really perfect!

Yeah and we all know what happens next. Poor Jess. And poor Sammy.
This was such a great AU story hon. I really enjoyed it!

Aw, the three of them get along so well. I love how Dean and Jess gang up on Sam, but it's always in a loving way, which is why Sam takes it. It's a good idea to tell Jess all about them, because the lies are not good and having to watch what they say about their Dad and their past are difficult to keep track of. Of course Dean would have a strange feeling about preserving the memories of the scene, because he has great instincts.

I hope you are planning some more stories in this verse, and that you make it even more AU with Jess being around. ;P

By the way, I really like the way you bring Jess to life, giving her a sense of personhood that makes her not just a soon-to-be McGuffin (which the show itself sort of does). Thank you!

Seriously, I was tearing my hair out toward the end, here. You weren't heavy-handed with the allusions to the events of the Pilot Episode, but the buildup was there and of course we all know what happens. DANG YOUUUUUUUU
My heart hurts. :'( I just want them to be happy... Thanks for the little slice of life when they were, I suppose. :') As always, it was beautifully done.
