This is a beautiful well written piece that says everything the characters, if they were real entities, would no doubt have said to each other at some point. I can tell you live this show as much as myself since every word every gesture and feeling are true to thier characters. I loved this so much.

Missed that to date-great story and very well written. Deep and intense and very realistic especially regarding Steve and his thoughts.

It is interesting how many different stories have appeared in FanFiction following the lack of the series to provide a better bridge from Season 6 to Season 7...this is another...it explores the emotional and psychological effects of a transplant operation on the recipient, (which was not touched at all by the show), fortunately it was a living transplant and did not also carry the stigma of associating a death so another might live...very introspective...especially the narrative dealing with Steve's perceived loss of control

I love this story. Thanks for writing it. With no 5-0 tonight because of basketball I read your story and it was great and better than watching the show. Although season 7 is an excellent season this story is first rate.

I was so excited to see a story from you pop up in my mailbox and now I've finally found time to read it. This is another wonderful piece you have put together. Your song selections were perfect and your characterizations were spot-on. It truly would have been nice for Danny to get some acknowledgement from somebody, but especially from Steve. I get it that facing what happened would be difficult, especially for someone who tries to rein in his emotions so tightly, but common courtesy would have demanded some kind of thank you from him. You wrote it "there way" very well.

I loved the piece in the hospital where Dr. Cornett hears them banter and the 'I hate you/ I love you' exchange. Funny how you broughtJerry into it. Basically, I loved it all. I hope you're back in the H50 writing mode again. Eager for more from you. ;)

And just where have you been hiding? So glad you're writing again, and I LOVE this story! As one of many who felt Danny was unjustly left out of the glory after literally saving Steve twice in one day, I'm so glad to read your take. I never needed Danny to get adulation from the rest of the team, their Ohana or even the governor, but I did need him to get some gratitude from Steve! Loved the idea of Steve seeing the news story on the television, and later, listening to the flight audio! Really a cool way to have him find out what happened without without listening to it secondhand from Chin, Kono or Grover. This was a well thought out and written story, as all of your stories are. Hope your Muse is in the mood for more!
