Luxie chapter 1 . 3/28 So one thing I've noticed in the reviews, is a lot of complaints about teens having to automatically get married if they get pregnant...either people don't know, or just too lazy to research, but if a couple doesn't marry, the father basically has no rights to the child...i.e. momma can take baby to another town/country and daddy has no say, unless they signed some papers stating otherwise, which is unlikely, most don't think about it. THIS is the main reason parents usually make their kids marry in these situations. (At least in my country) Daddy's usually have VERY limited rights otherwise. And of course some are just old fashioned and think a baby needs both parents. {Rolls eyes} |
Pheldda chapter 36 . 9/28/2019 Nice story, interesting take on the dynamics between Tasha and Christian. |
HonestPassion13 chapter 30 . 5/18/2019 What's voltaren? |
HonestPassion13 chapter 29 . 5/17/2019 So ... I MAY have read a certain portion of this chapter three times - and then followed it up by Googling the term "waterfall sex position". I'm not saying I DID, but I COULD HAVE. Just hypothetically. :-) |
HonestPassion13 chapter 21 . 5/10/2019 You have handled some REALLY DIFFICULT, very controversial, politically-charged topics with Grace, beauty, and finesse in the past few chapters. I love what you did here! So excited that he might be proposing in the next one - though I have to admit that I personally was engaged in high school and it was a horrible idea! |
genisis love chapter 36 . 10/17/2018 I was worried when I embarked on this story, not usually a fan of human stories, but I loved it! You are an amazing writer. And I loved that Lissa and Rose are the sisters they are meant to be ;) I needed that while I read your other stories! lol I love seeing Abe and Janine together, it was refreshing seeing Janine as a mom, and a loving devoted one at that! Much love , looking forward to another chapter of Anything for her!xoxo |
Guest chapter 36 . 9/30/2018 Oh my god! We need a sequel swimming! ASAP! Please...it's amazing and I really want to know more about their lives. This one was about school and college and I really want to know all about their more adult and responsibilities filled lives as married people. Them getting married, having babies and grandbabies and living happily ever after. Please? I know I'm a couple of months late(16 months to be precise) but please. It'd be a huge honour if you do... Sky... |
VioletQueenMarie chapter 36 . 7/7/2018 This story is really nice! I enjoyed it a lot. You did a great job writing something you were unfamiliar with. Some things I liked: -Balance between fortune and misfortune -Mature elements (pregnancy, miscarriage, sexual assault, sex, contraception, alcohol, etc.) -POV, word choice, and style -Vivid and concrete descriptions -Orthodox culture -Characters were still recognizable -A troubled, rather than insane or psychopathic, Tasha Some things I disliked: -The instant realization that Rose and Dimitri are going to spend the rest of their lives together. This is leveled out by all their trials and tribulations and the fact that they're teenagers, but I still feel like they should've branched out and experimented more (especially Dimitri) before coming back to each other and concluding with certainty that being married to one another and trying for a family is what they want. Basically, I personally think that realization should've happened after high school, rather than during high school. -Dimitri initially planning to marry Rose, when he finds out she's pregnant and before the miscarriage happens. Sure, it ties into him wanting to do the right thing, their religious upbringing, and you turn it into a more realistic situation by ultimately having them wait. But it just personally irritates me that teens can't just co-parent their out-of-wedlock kid without getting married right away, especially when they were in a mutual, genuine relationship before the pregnancy. That's all I was trying to say. -The gang goes to college together, or at least see each regularly after high school. It's very heartwarming and sweet, don't get me wrong. But I feel like after high school, that doesn't really happen during college. Groups of friends that hung out together between K-12 oftentimes go their separate ways and see each other less and less, once college comes. People start branching out. That's what happened to me; I'm still in college, and I only have one or two of my childhood friends going to the same school as me and hanging out with me regularly. All my other friends are at different places, and I've barely seen or talked to them since we started college. So, I had that disconnect with the gang when I got to that part of the story. My experience (on top of what generally happens) made it seem unrealistic to me. Other than that, I really do love this story overall. It's beautiful and well-written. Such a pleasure to read. Thank you! :-) |
toscanamarcela chapter 36 . 6/22/2018 How has it taken me so long to read this fic, is totally beyond me. But I am so glad I did because it's just wonderful. I love it so much! Everything about it. Congratualtions on your writing, it was on point, as always! |
Guest chapter 36 . 5/2/2018 Probably more epilogues about their life after and wedding? I'd love to read them... |
greendestiny1523 chapter 36 . 11/25/2017 Well that was certainly a rollercoaster. I appreciate the way you handle sensitive issues with tact and understanding. This story definitely made me cry, but I was happy with the ending. Thank you for sharing another creative story! |
Guest chapter 36 . 11/19/2017 Omg this was so good! I was admittedly a little leary at first. (Many AU fanfics are just terrible.) But I'm glad I gave it a try. You never ever disappoint. |
Dream Walker's Obsession chapter 36 . 11/8/2017 Well done. |

amna jah chapter 1 . 10/7/2017 I have to admit that I've read this story twice and I still find it great. Your writing style really appeals to me and I enjoy the simple and straightforward way you write while managing to draw in your reader. I've read almost all of your stories but this one is my favorite. Absolutely love it and I hope you write more intriguing ones in the future that will be even more appreciated by your audience here at fan fiction. Thank you. |
