Finally caught up on this story.

I love all the fronts of conflict you have going on here. Political intrigue surrounding the Hyrule throne, pitched battles in Altea, and skirmishes with all kinds of different threat levels during travel. I also appreciate how you've brought threats from several generations of the games together.

The characterizations feel solid, though I can't speak much for the Marth side of things-all those characters are way above my pay grade.

Most of all, I really like your descriptions, especially when it's from Link's perspective. Lots of neat little touches and details. The way you've bridged the regions together so far was a cool idea, and I can't wait to see how other places-if any-show up in the future. Take all the time you need in updating!

I love the world building and politics you've included thus far! It's an aspect of fics that too often gets forgotten. I also like how you've managed to take your story from a medieval fantasy setting with FE and LoZ and turn it straight into the Super Mario universe! Can't wait to see more!

Yeah, the primary luxury in a castle was intended to be that of time for the defenders. Even a small force, if carefully allocated, could often pick off enough of a much larger attacking army that they'd get tired of the casualties and leave while the defenders still had suppliesassuming they even found besieging the fortress worth the effort to start.

Well, things appear to be looking up, at least for this moment.

What did Pokemon do in this world and what's our friend Lucario's backstory?

Would our group of royal princesses (and Queen in Zelda's case) form a bubbly bond unbreakable? I hope so at least.

Great to see some interaction between the greens! (Link and Luigi) Luigi seems a lot less scared right now, but I betcha that's gonna disappear real soon if someone tries to kidnap Peach. And Link is working himself way too hard which is so believable it hurts and I love it. I love him.

So question, are you envisioning this story more as a Final Fantasy RPG or a Fire Emblem RPG? What I mean is how everyone is interacting with one another when there's no fighting. I'm curious how you see it because it may help me with my own writing style.

I somehow missed the updates, bit now I had two chapters to read! I'm still not very good at reviewing, but I still really enjoy the story and how it is written! I'm excited to see what will come next! Also I don't mind if a chapter takes longer, I have a lot of patience :)

Eh, both bros are cardboard, one may be shivering cardboard, but they're both still cardboard. There's nothing to really imply one has brains over the other.

In fact, you could get pretty creative with how you characterize them, other than keeping to Luigi's sole consistent character trait; cowardice.

The way I usually write Mario is that if the world or Peach is not in any immediate danger he’s a pretty confident and laid-back guy. All the successful adventures probably gave him that attitude. And when Bowser attacks he goes into super-soldier mode, at least what I call it anyway. I didn’t even notice that you were writing from Luigi’s perspective, to be honest.

Love this and how you are incorporating different characters! You write a great Link! Looking forward to what happens next!

Well, time to bring out the stick; it seems to have been awhile. On another note, this is great. I so rarely find good plot in ssb stories, but this definitely does a very satisfying job in that department. The pacing does seem a bit odd, but when you look at the big picture it makes some sense. I know nothing about final fantasy so I wouldn't be able to make any kind of comparison for your inspiration, but your characterization seems pretty on point to me. Both in terms of being true to the source material and the situation. Do continue! I am quite excited to see more!
