I loved how you tried to explain somewhat how clark does some things like moving objects and people at high speeds. That never really made sence in the show. How he didn't kill or destoy what he was holding when he moved at high speeds. Im enjoying the clark/dawn interactions. Please update soon.

Can't wait to see Clark activating Willow's detection spell for "hellgodishy powerful things", that would be awesome. Anyway, fun chapter, looking forward for the next one.

What to say for this chapter?

Clark baiting dawn in regards to the Dust Devil was hilarious. We rarely see his more playful side, which I understand, and which makes moments like this all the more funny. I also liked Clark's admission that he would rather let the professionals (read Slayers) handle this situation, but also the looming acknowledgement that he can't.

Also speaking of looming, I also appreciated the acknowledgement of the looming realization on the behalf of Ma and Pa Kent - Clark can't keep holding things in and he can't avoid the Slayers. It's a tough thing to accept, but they'll have to face it like Martha said.

Finally, I like the semi-twist at the end of the chapter involving Katie. For a moment we thought this is how Clark is discovered...and then it's revealed she's met one of the overbite brigade. It was well done and interesting to see.

Great chapter, really liked the ending. You got me invested and then killed her off when I cared the most. Very Game of Thrones. Really excited for that security spell to come back into play, hoping I can finally get that Naman tie-in I've always wanted. I like sense of Clark wanting to let someone else take the reins but his sense of responsibility making feel guilty for it. The dead slayer wonèt be building up his confidence in their abilities either.

And now here's the bloodshed! I can see here is the point were it starts to get real. And I love Dawn's observations of everyone during lunch. So far she's got everyone down to a T. And she's mostly figured out the triangle verging on a square. Ooh, is she going to make it pentagon? Because I'd sort of love to see Lana get jealous over Dawn. I'm curious about who the Smallville Slayer is. Part of me is guessing its the Gothic girl Pete was crushing on. Another part of me is sort of hoping its Lana... and then she can take off to Scotland or join one of the North America squads once they get set up. I like Clark and I actually like Lana... I just hate them together. Pretty much all of their relationship was a gag reflex for me, but I like them well enough with others or by themselves.

Ooh, speaking of characters I like yet get annoyed by (which sums up all of them at some point) is Lex going to start snooping around anytime soon and screw some stuff up? Can't wait for the next posting!
