this was beautiful, I cant wait for more. You are a remarkable writer, however I would like a scene where we see Harry bonding with Roxanne. It would be nice to see how much she loves him and comes to see him as a son!

I must apologize of an error I made in my last review. I had mentioned Harry’s trial, a scene in “The Champion’s Legacy” which I am enjoying updates of at the same time and confused the two. My deepest apologies. I am very much enjoying the story but I seem to have jumbled some things. I’m very happy with how Pettigrew was handled. Believable, with a satisfying outcome. I can’t wait for your interpretation of the Tri-Wizard tournament in the coming year.

Brian, as ever I love reading your work. I look forward to the continuation of this story and greatly enjoyed this version of Harry’s trial. I was a couple chapters behind and all too quickly realized I had reached the current end. But, I think I’m going to get back into “War of the Laurels” I loved where you were taking the story when I last read it, and it has seen many updates since then. I assume it will take a week or two to catch up, as I plan to start again from the beginning. I really like all the positive reinforcement Harry is receiving from Sirius, Moony, Cyrus and even Snape. That is a surprise. I'm glad Dumbledore stopped that howler when he did. I am very glad Alexius got punished strongly for telling Knot Senior about Theo' affection for Hermione. It is really great that most of Slytherin supported Theo. Thanks for writing. ps

So, over the past couple days I've read all of A chance encounter and now this. I really really like it. I love your AU and how you dont force the canon events to happen anyway when they dont make sense given the consequences (flying cars, buckbeaks story, etc). Its also fun to see how your writing has improved a lot over the years in a single story!

So I just wanted to say after a week of reading I have now caught up to here from the first chapter on the first story. I have got to say I have enjoyed it immensely. I hope the next chapter comes quickly and all others after lol. I really like the ideas of this story and where you take it. On an unrelated note I want to say thank you for the A/N when you said you were thankful to the people still working. I work in a grocery store and just graduated high school and will start college next fall and it meant a lot to me.

Excellent chapter! Loved the marriage contract prank! That was brilliant! Glad to see Harry and Daphne getting along so well. Love the dynamic between the four friends. Rather sad that Alexius had to betray Theo. Hopefully things will work out for the boy. Also love all of the attention to detail and the banter between all of the friends. Great job!
