Hey! I know I’m a year late but I just now discovered this story and I wanted to tell you: 1) I LOVE it! I can’t stop reading it, seriously! I have work tomorrow yet here I am at 1:30 in the morning, reading this masterpiece.
2) haters are dumb and you shouldn’t let them discourage you or keep you from doing something you love and feel passionate about and even if it’s just a fanfiction (an amazing one!) you don’t get paid for writing. If they hate it so much then they can go f* themselves and not read it.
Seriously, I see no point in hating on other people’s ideas. Honestly, writing a story (especially a story so well-written and interesting and just wow) takes a lot of time and courage and telling someone that their work is stupid or unrealistic is just pathetic.
You’re amazing and I love what you’re doing.

Personally, I wish this was a multi-chapter thing. Drawn out, watching Hiccup crack. It’s a very interesting and fun concept. I immensely enjoyed this chapter.

Oh my word, where do I even start? Okay, the setting - I love how much detail and description you put into the town. And you mentioned South Bend! I grew up just east of there, so that was nifty.
As I started reading, I thought, oh cool, looks like a nice slow-burn fic, those are the best! And then HOLY FREAKING PLOT TWIST did that get more complicated. It was pretty good. The pets were perfect, and I loved the surprise guest at the end.
