And a happy ending, at least. Thanks very much for this! And I am glad that this focused on the Danvers sisters without their significant others. We don't see of this type of fic often now. :)

If Alex is a real person I'd deck her in the face for what she's done. That is not what being a big sister is like! But I am glad that Kara has Mon-El, or there wouldn't be coming back from this.

Kara distancing herself from everyone is kinda like what I though she would do as well, if the show went down this path. OOC maybe, but I think Kara's biggest fear is to realise that Alex never really considered her family in the first place, that it was just something that Alex got used to saying or acting because of Eliza's prodding and in honouring Jeremiah's sacrifice.

Oh Kara, you sensitive alien. I hope you know that you're not only breaking Kara's heart here, but mine as well. What Alex said during that confrontation was really insensitive and I know it was said in the heat of the moment, and that Alex, at the worst of times, says things that are meant to hurt the most, but they do say that a drunk man's words are a sober man's thoughts (let's switch that with angry man and peaceful man).

I am so glad that I came across this fic when it was already finished, else I will drive myself insane waiting. :D

Thank you so much for giving us a follow up conversation to that episode. That is what I miss most about season 2 are the conversations between Alex and Kara. The relationship is such a precious one that a follow-up to Alex's words to Kara needed to be done. Your story was excellent and provided us with that ending. You are an excellent writer.
