Excellent brief look into a real issue and the partner's thought processes. I'm old enough to remember starting plenty of IVs, drawing bloods without gloves, and being inadvertently doused with a patients blood in the 1980's. I also remember how HIV changed practices for the better and people more cognizant of blood borne pathogens like Hep B.

This was excellent. I would have loved for it to have been longer. You did a great job. Even now when we teach emergency personnel to wear gloves and give one-handed shots there are needle sticks, cross contamination. When all the Ebola was going on my hospital was gearing up to take patients. It was scary.

This was very interesting. A new perspective to how dangerous the line of work can be, and the hazards that they risk with every call. Is this a one chapter story or will there be more? This has the makings of a great multi-chapter story!
