This may be my favorite fic I’ve ever READ. This is exactly the type of story I love. You took a fantastic scene from the show and added to it and made it BETTER!

I hated Mary at that moment. Dean did the right thing that kicked her out

I wanna see her be faced with how far Dean really goes for Sam. I know she knows, but has she really processed it? I want Cass to come in and make her face it. Yo show her Dean's deal and Sam's desperation in Mystery Spot. I hated how they did that episode. And then when they fight Ramiel? John gave up revenge and his soul for only one son, and Mary couldnt be bother to save bother her sons and their brother in all but blood? What the fuck Mary? I'm glad they short of redeemed her in the S12 finale. Keep up the good work on this!

Boy howdy, I agree that Dean kept his rebukes tame on the show. I like this fiery version. ;)

There is the dissonance of Dean accepting Cole as readily as he did in season 10, not even interfering when Cole calls his brother "Sammy" while they work the kahn worm case together. That bugs me. But otherwise, Dean doesn't let people mess around with Sam. And we wouldn't want it any other way. ;)

Yeah, Mary's character was definitely ruined in that episode. At least we have Jody.

so, umm, to be honest I haven't watch this episode and most episode of S12 yet. so I don't know the whole story. (but I watch the torture scene and where Mary left, and where she keep secret, and saw the gifs on tumblr of this episode. so yeah, barely, only 3 episodes so far. damn.)

but I Love the protective Dean and his unquestionable loyalty toward his little Brother. because Dean will always chose Sam over anyone even the whole world.
while the mother still questionable about the loyalty things.
make sense since she only live with them not for so long. even though she is a mother and a hunter.

so yeah, I love this fic.

YES! YES YES YES!
I am so incredibly torn and confused by where they are going with Mary's character this season. I've read some really interesting meta that runs the range from damning her to hell, to looking at possible reasons behind her actions. The only one that makes any sense (and keeps her character in a positive light) was a writer who posited the idea that Mary is trying to wipe the slate clean...no more hunting means no more need for hunters. That she's trying to get rid of the reason her boys have to hunt so they won't have to anymore. That she's trying to fix her past mistakes that led her children into this life.
And that's cool...I guess I can see that as a motivator. But it doesn't excuse her actions...her lying and betrayal. She's motivated by a memory of boys who don't exist anymore. She has almost no relationship with her adult sons. In fact, she probably knows Mr Ketch better than either of the boys at this point. So I'm mostly confused as to WHO she is as a character now. Mary always equaled "mother" to me in the show...now, she is cold, aggressive, and an enigma. So different from what we saw in the episodes that took us back in time to her younger days. I really hope that the show fills in some blanks for us and doesn't leave a giant gaping plot/character hole here.
(IS IT TOO MUCH TO ASK FOR RESOLUTION TO RELATIONSHIP ISSUES IN THIS SHOW?! Fanfic can only go so far...)

That was absolutely amazing

I liked this, it's perfectly written. I just wish you would have gone into an AU from here on and let them refuse to hunt with the BMOL. :) so yeah, for the reason I don't like them hunting together I liked the first half of this story better. Let's see, what the next episode brings...
