interesting that's what people assumed when Luke's parentage was announced.

This is great! I don't think I've ever read this particular plot idea, that Vader finds Luke on Tatooine and just negotiates, instead of trying to snatch him :-). Very good Vader/Luke bonding and I like the fact that Vader is indifferent to his own health. Sounds very Vader like.

This was fantabulous! :) Lately I've been reading a lot of Vader/Luke, Father-Son stories, and this one has got to be a favorite. Great job!

Ah, I'd read this on tumblr earlier; it was enjoyable then, and it's enjoyable now.

Well, since the only review on here is a poor one, I will have to give it a good one. :)

*SQUEE* Luke standing up for his father and not letting people blame this on him, even though disabusing them of the notion will hurt his own reputation and possibly alienate him even FURTHER from these people that used to call him their hero. Luke's selflessness is shining through here yet again.

And anyone who says that Luke would be burdened by his father surviving doesn't understand Luke at all. He just wants a chance to get to know his father, and now he has that chance. And Vader/Anakin would never just sit around and make himself a nuisance. He's going to be spending his every waking (and sleeping, heh) moment trying to make up for everything he's done, even though he knows he never truly can. LUKE will be the one telling him to calm down, to rest, to recover. Vader/Anakin is not one to just sit around and twiddle his thumbs. They have slaves to free, and Imperial remnants to chase down and capture/destroy, and a new Jedi Order to rebuild (one that doesn't villainize attachment or steal children or ignore the injustices of the Galaxy).

I know I told you most of this before, but I thought I would put it out here where other people can see it too. :)

And now Lukes lumbered with Deadbeat dad.

He will now have to spend the rest of his life with Dad crashed out on the sofa; drinking Ethanol energy drinks.

That and telling him how much better it was in the good old days.

Or trying to get him to shack up with some Dathomir girl.
