Reviews for SSW Forever
SomePerson91 chapter 12 . 5/4
I can't believe I'm doing this again. I might kill myself before the end of this. Anyways, where we last left off, Freddy and Monarchy turned heel on Ced. All the face main eventers are just heels forced into a spot. Edgar vs Samuel is one of the most confusing and worst feuds in all of WFA. Matt Lopez is a nerd. Alan Riddle is the worst boss and doesn't even watch the show. Will Ralston and the Young Bucks of the Bullet Club also showed up at the end to kick Ced. SJ turned face at the PPV then heel on the show after. Jeff Rizzo is the worst forced push in a company of forced pushes. We saw a match from Levi's POV...and ruined the one story that had potentiel. The Darkest Souls are awful. Oh and Trivolt is a CM Punk fan...Jason Sabre is still misused as well. This is NAW if NAW wasn't good or entertaining. Let's get to the fire. Please start a prayer circle for me

To open the shows, Monarchy is on thrones. I imagine that it's just chairs painted yellow, with those dollar store fake jewels glued onto the sides. Freddy is tired of being overlooked... didn't you just main event a PPV? Why was this act a babyface team in the first place? They just scream heels. We decided to focus on the tag team of the stable as Can-Am Connection came out... five bucks says that the Darkest Souls come out and stand tall...speak of the 'Forcing you to think we're cool Souls'. OMG...Tim Michaels is British and you are laying it on too thick 'Wank off.' Maybe if you wanked off, the womens division wouldn't be piss poor. The Monarchy sitting there, laughing, while three teams fight is so cartoonish. Where's Ced BTW? Shouldn't he be involved since he has an issue with Freddy. The Darkest stood tall... surprising, I know. Alan Riddle set up our main event that will suck and Darkest Souls win, because Vanity. The viewship has too be under 5000 at this point in the company's run. Oh and the Monarchy did the middle finger for some reason. SSW Forever is the cool and edgy product Boiz. (Grade: F)
Momentum: Monarchy- F, Can-Am- F, Kiran's Soul- D Plus, Ultraviolent- F

So SSW United Rebirth was invaded by Trivolt. That show wasn't as awful as all of Forevers... It was still really bad. Alan Riddle is of course, a badass who treats everyone like kids. So the CM Punk knockoff, T.R. Volt is clearly going to listen to him with no comeback. So instead of Trivolt looking cool and CM Punk-esque...which is what you wanted since he debuted, you decided to make your authority figure look strict and stern and in control. This was bad for Trivolts image. Why don't you know how to book? ICW books Trell well. He's a boss who's not perfect and his heels get over on him. ACW books Richard to be mainly neutral (As of Season 3) in every regard except with Ash Russo. Why are you so fixated and making Alan Riddle look tough... even though he plays pac man... His character is so bad. Trivolt wasn't much better, but he shouldn't be looking like a reprimanded Child before going into 'the most dangerous match of all time, not counting the Contract signing'. "But-" Trivolt said "But Nothing" Alan Riddle said. Stupid segment. Also, Alan Riddle really sucks at Brand Warfare. (Grade: F Minus)
Trivolt: F Minus

The Jeff Rizzo vs Levi match never happened because Jeff attacked him beforehand... So where's Isabella? That's a story remember? Oh, here's Jason Sabre. He actually hit Jeff Rizzo with a move and stood tall... wow progress! Rizzo is still probably going to get his heat back and go over in the end because of the two people in this feud, Jeff Rizzo is the one who will go on to basically be the face of WFA that puts on MOTY's every single time, Be popular amongst all demographics and basically be requested by every promotion due to name value...oh wait... no one thought that... even when this actually aired...except you. Boo this feud! Boo this feud straight to hell and let it burn! (Grade: D)

Trivolt cut a promo and for fucks sake, not every promo that CM Cunt cuts is a Pipebomb. "Finally, I'm sorry Anthony Freakin' Dre...that you are such a fucking bitch"
What part of that sentence screams 'Shoot Promo'? None. This wasn't clever or even good. I don't care about how good the Dre vs Trivolt Match is going to be. This feud is awful. The current Dre character is delusional so I guess, in a way, this bad feud being the crux of that character is tremendous. But that's in 2020. I'm looking at this, at the time and thinking that I would have to have the IQ of a Peanut to think that this is a all time great feud. (Grade: F Minus)

Of fucking course Jason doesn't get to go over and is laid out by Jeff Rizzo. If anyone was okay with Jeff Rizzo looking this strong, please DM me so I can give you a phone number to a mental health hotline. This is borderline offensive. This is like TNA getting the Rock in 2002 and having him get beat up by Sonny Siaki on a weekly basis. Thank you ACW for saving Jason Sabre's career. Can we get a Darkside of the Ring on this feud pls? (Grade: F Minus)
Jason Sabre: F Minus, Jeff Rizzo: F

Katarina came out and sadly, had the best promo of the night so far. Still not great, good, decent, or even Solid. Alan Riddle who was strict with Trivolt earlier continues to have no consistency in his portrayal by giving in to Katarina's demands of not defending the title. It did set up the Jessie vs Katarina match. Also, isn't Jessie Faraday a heel? How is this good booking at all? No one wants that match at all. Fighting For Freedom has had the worst build for a PPV I've seen in a long time. (Grade: D Minus)
Katarina Love- D Plus

Edgar Noose promo... this feud is still stupid. I hope both fall into the Spirit realm that's never mentioned anymore and stay there and not on my screen. (Grade: D Minus)
Edgar- D

Alan Riddle is watching Netflix during the show. Probably a murder documentary as inspiration for how he's tried to murder the careers of many promising talent. Levi...who was attacked earlier in the same fucking show is here to request a match. he no sold the attack and isn't even mad at Rizzo. At least he found Isabella, who did nothing here. Jeez, SSW Forever can't even be consistent in ONE singluar episode. I already want to take a break and quit this again, but I must continue for the entertainment of everyone who reads these. (Grade: F Minus)
Levi- F Minus

Will Ralston & Freddy took on Ced and Levi. Ced randomly being supportive of Levi was mildly amusing. Of course the match is interrupted by SSW Forever shitty spiritual mystical psychological horror with no sign of even being B Movie good. This was too much of a bad thing. A very confusing angle. Does SSW Forever have one storyline going on that isn't frustrating or downright awful? This style of show doesn't work with the way it's being written. Somehow Mama Shango is better than this and that isn't good either. The World title feud is such an afterthought in this match so I'm assuming the four new guys are your OC's. (Hype: F, Match: D, Satisfaction: F Minus, Overall:F)
Levi- F Minus, Ced- F Minus, Freddy Escobar- F Minus, Will Ralston- D

Oh btw, Darkest Souls won the main event like I said earlier. They get to fight the Freelancers but no one cares. The match was Okay enough, especially for SSW. (Hype:F Minus, Match: D, Satisfaction: F, Overall: F)

Overall, another F Minus show. Everything was trash in one way or another. This show has nothing good. Someone please tell me that it gets better...PLEASE!

Championship Prestige (Based on who is holding the title and their segments):
SSW Champion: F Plus
SSW Womens Championship: F Plus
SSW Tag Championship: D
SSW Killjoy Championship: F Minus
SomePerson91 chapter 11 . 11/28/2019
The Mark Henry tribute show sucked... I mean Hall of Pain. Either way, it sucked. Ced getting a fake crazy pop also sucks. The idea of Freddy vs Ced sucks as a main event. And the winner goes to the torture chamber to fight Will Ralston. Let me tell you why. Because the Torture Chamber...a match no one heard of until the last show... has taken too many lives. Freddy didn't become a good babyface until ACW. Ced was never good and is still a douche. Alan Riddle is the worst. I miss Trell already. (Grade: F)
Momentum: Ced- D Minus, Freddy Escobar- F, Alan Riddle- D Minus

So Levi was all about Isabella at Hall of Pain. Now he's questioning it. Also, why would Dunkkan be in your locker room singing uncool grunge music Levi? Also why wouldn't you have noticed him earlier. Oh by the way, another guy is going to debut and he'll be cool, edgy and a monster. I totally look forward to it... That's sarcasm. One of the slightly good things coming out of Hall of Pain was Isabella and Levi's storyline started and you already fucked it up (Grade: F)
Momentum: Levi- D, Isabella- D Plus

The Freelancers randomly came out so we can debut the Darkest Souls. Jacob Carry and Cast. The champs got beat up. Then the camera stayed on them for a long time until they got up. Then they complained. This tag division Story is brutal right now. "depressed warriors, the death bringers, and the men who will end your title reign..." Carry glares. What the hell is a depressed warrior? Is that a emo who cuts himself with a sword? Can one somewhat decent thing coming out of the PPV not be ruined tonight? (Grade: F)
Momentum: Darkest Souls- C , Freelancers- D

The Jason Sabre vs some no named cunt for the Killjoy title was awful. Jason Sabre deserves so much better. Jeff Rizzo should be buried. He's worse than Seth Sullivan and Ben Jones in ICW. Seriously, this is the worst booked thing in WFA history. You owe WFA, Jason Sabre and anyone with intelligence an apology for this crap (Sorry to crap for insulting you) (Hype: F, Match: F, Satisfaction: F, Overall: F.U.C.K Y.O.U.R. R.I.Z.Z.O P.U.S.H)
Momentum: Jason Sabre- F, Jeff Rizzo- No one is a fan except you

Trivolt thinks he's CM Punk still. What a fucking mark. This promotion is a vanity promotion for OC's who I assume belong to you and it's not even entertaining. TRIVOLT ISN'T RELEVANT. He hasn't done shit here. The backstory of Trivolt and Bayley (Poor girl) giving Dre money to start UWA (BTW, is slightly better than this, then sucks as a Anthony Dre vanity promotion), died a death amongst this rip off of a promo. This was so bad. Who thought this was a good thing to put on TV? This was bad! Awful! Despicable! Disgusting! SSW sucks. (Grade: F)
Momentum: Trivolt-F

Levi vs Caesar...from Levi's POV. I wish there was a grade below F for this asinine content (Grade: F)
Levi- F, Caesar- F

So we had an open challenge from Can-AM. The Darkest Souls accepted. The Monarchy came out. Why? I don't know. But they're here. Of course Darkest Souls stand tall. This makes no sense. Save_Us_Ryder. United has to be better than this right? (Grade: F)
Momentum: Can-Am- F, Kiran's Souls- C, Monarchy- F

Tank Gibbs sucks and is hornswoggle. Jeff Rizzo sucks and is the worst character on a show of the Worst characters in wrestling history. This was useless and you trying to make Rizzo funny. He's not. You didn't even write 98 percent of WFA High School (Which I've been told to point out by the author). You wrote the worst joke and one Mason Rivers line. Why did I point that out? Because I had too. (Grade: F)

Wow...Tank/Rizzo was a three year feud... what was it over? Who's the bigger virgin? Who gets to give Alan the money shot. (Grade: F Feud already)

Wait...so we have a big announcement on who Katarina Love will defend against. She got to choose her opponent. She chose both Abby and SJ. This was short. This sucked. Why would a heel like Katarina face both? Why are SJ and Abby high fiving over Matt Lopez looking like a bitch at Hall of Shame? Why did you turn SJ face at the PPV only to turn her heel again? Why do I have to read this? (Grade: F)
Momentum: Katarina Love- D, SJ Steele- D Minus, Abby Torres- F Minus

Why is Alan Riddle sleeping? The show's bad, but it wouldn't put anyone sleep. It would cause concussions and a loss of brain cells though. Also Matt Lopez is a dork because he has tape on his nose like a nerd. Alan is the worst boss (Grade: F)
Momentum: Alan Riddle- D Minus, Matt Lopez- F Minus

I hate Edgar calling Samuel, Purple. Is that Samuel's favorite color? His favorite Drank? Why?! The promo wasn't bad but this feud blows. What happened to the spirit realm crap? (Grade: D Minus)
Edgar- D

Freddy Escobar vs Ced wasn't getting This is awesome chants for match quality. It's because it was sadly the best thing on this show. sets up for the Money Shot, but Ced stands up, bent over... that's just nasty. We had a clean finish for once. (Hype: F, Match: D Plus, Satisfaction: D Minus, Overall: D Minus)

The post match stuff had a heel turn from Monarchy on Ced...I'm stunned... not really. Then I guess we find out why Monarchy did a run in on the tag match earlier as the Can Am Connection attempted to make the save. Then Edgar showed up to even the score. It was a disappointing reveal of a fourth man. The faces...heels who we're calling faces stand tall...thus killing anything the Monarchy gained from turning. Then Ced gets Triple Superkicked while the three heels who are called faces stand next to him and so Will Ralston can show up...Yeah... This was a mess. A overbooked mess. (Grade: F)
Momentum: Monarchy- F, Edgar-D, Can Am- F, Will Ralston- C Minus

This show was another F Minus. This is awful. Nothing is good. Absolutely nothing. I can't find a positive. You deserve the F Minus.
SomePerson91 chapter 10 . 11/23/2019
The build to SSW Hall of Pain was awful and got worse by the week. I hope that this snaps the F Minus streak but you are a career failure so this will more than likely continue the streak. The shows off to a bad start as Jason Lyric is the first thing we see. I thought he was taking a backseat. The Torture Chamber is now the most dangerous thing ever apparently. Sorry contract signing. Also, we only just got to the first Pay-Per-View. Why is there already a draft? This has nothing to do with the PPV and should've been moved to the next show (Grade: F)

So I guess No mercy is supposed to be the biggest name on the roster according to the stage. We're opening with UV vs Monarchy vs Can AM Connection. Why is a commentator marking out for Apollo's debut if he's an unknown. Also, Apollo will probably go on to do nothing within a month. The match itself was decent and the best match in this shithole's history. I'm so glad that you decided to undermine the Can Am's victory by having the Monarchy attack them. Then follow with a Tim Michaels promo. BTW, why didn't you debut Apollo after the match and attack the winners. He did nothing during the match. Tim Michael's is ruined based off that promo. It's sterotyping a british guy's verbiage. That's in poor taste and his promo was poor quality. There was no point to that promo either or Monarchy getting their non-existent heat back. SSW Forever's tag division blows. (Hype: F, Match: C, Satisfaction: F, Overall: D. )
Wrestler Momentums (Debuting this concept): Can-AM Connection- D Minus, Monarchy- F, Tim Michaels- F Minus, His friends- F

The Mixed tag match between Matt Lopez & Abby vs Devan & SJ was a lame piece of work. This was a okay feud and the only one that gets that much praise heading into the show. This was disappointing. Why did Alan Riddle send in the entire defense team for a guy getting kneed in the face. That's way too over dramatic. I guess Devan looks strong, but Matt Lopez got buried by a knee to the face. This was a bunch of melodrama over a stupid knee to the face. It wasn't even a finisher. This was awful. Devan's character sucks. Matt Lopez was buried. Abby looks pathetic. Only SJ came out of this Unschated and her momentum is far from hot. (Build: C Minus, Match: F, Satisfaction: F, Overall: F)
Momentum: Matt Lopez- F Minus, Abby Toress- F Plus, SJ Steel- D Minus, Devan- D)

"I know you didn't wear your knee pads under your sweat pants.. YOU KNOW THAT'S AGAINST THE RULES!" Riddle screams. That's the reason why this is supposed to be a big deal. Kneepads? That's so stupid and it killed the threat that Devan was supposed to be instantly. Also, why is Devan, a So called 'Monster' wearing Sweatpants. Alan Riddle is also an idiot for letting Kenny Omega in charge. I thought UCW was bad, but this takes the cake. (Grade: F)
Momentum: Devan- F, Alan Riddle- D Minus, Kenny Omega- D

Why is SJ Steele hugging Abby after the feud they've had. Why should SJ feel bad for Abby? This is a piss poor segment with a random face turn from SJ, Abby continuing to look melodramatic, and Jeff Rizzo somehow being shoved into our faces as if he's the coolest guy on the roster. I guess Katarina didn't look bad. (Grade: F)
Momentum: Katarina Love- D, Abby Toress- F Minus, SJ Steele- F Plus, Jeff Rizzo- D Minus)

The Levi vs Dunkkan match was disappointing. The Isabella reveal didn't do much for me and I don't buy into Levi the Great as an underdog when his name has 'Great' in it. He screams annoying little shithead heel. This match was a poorly done hardcore style match. Dunkkan lost all his hype after this match. This didn't even come off as a big win for Levi either because you blew your load early...on Jeff Rizzo's face probably. Dunkkan was one of the few that was on a roll too. (Hype: D Plus, Match: D Minus, Satisfaction: D Minus, Overall: D Minus)
Momentum: Levi- D Plus, Dunkkan & Lilith- F

Alan Riddle fired Devan earlier for not wearing kneepads. This segment and storyline is awful and I want it to end. These segment are cringey and as a PPV Buyer, I would want a refund. "Fine...but I am going to make sure he will be wearing knee pads..." Riddle obliges sadly. Alan Riddle is a dweeb. I guess Matt Lopez gained a shred of overness back. He's still not going to live down that match and melodrama though. (Grade: D)
Momentum: Alan Riddle- D Minus, Matt Lopez- F

This Levi interview was bad...Edgar is bad...What happened to the Samuel feud btw Edgar? I guess the glove is a reason to be interested in Isabella, but why Edgar? Why now? A Levi heel turn would be okay with me at this point. I'd like to see Edgar be right and have Isabella influence Levi for the worse. That'd be interesting."Edgar!" Levi steps between them. "Leave her alone! What do you know? You're only a lunatic." Levi glares before walking away with Isabella. But with cringey diologue like that, I'm sure I won't enjoy it. (Grade: D Plus)
Momentum: Edgar- D, Levi-D Plus, Isabella- C Minus

Jason Sabre vs Rizzo & Negro sucked balls from a booking perspective. Why does Rizzo not get his comuppance here? Jason defying the odds would've been the right move and helped a babyface out. Something you've done poorly if you look at momentum ratings. Also Negro was the worst of the two to win and get a title shot. I hate Rizzo but he'd be a better challenger. (Hype: F, Match: D, Satisfaction: F, Overall: F)
Momentum- Jason Sabre: D Minus, Jeff Rizzo: D, Tiburon Negro- D Minus)

The Freelancers vs Wayne Bros was a solid little match then the No Mercy theme song played. A couple of masked guys showed up. This, sadly, is the only angle that wasn't botched. But you advertised the 'No Mercy' angle at the end of the show and it was used for the tag division, which you don't give a crap about. Maybe you will now, but I was expecting a main event angle for the 'No mercy' tease so this was disappointing. The commentator are so stupid in this world. They make the show worse. (Hype: D, Match: C Minus, Satisfaction: C Minus, Overall: C Minus)
Momentum: Freelancers- C Minus, Wayne Bros- F, Edgy masked boys #32- C

Will Ralston vs Freddy Escobar was the main event for the SSW Championship. To no one's surprise. It sucked. No one cared. Both Stables did a run in. No one cared. Ralston won and the crowd went mild. (Hype: F, Match: F, Satisfaction: F, Overall: F)

Then we have the post match angle where Ced returned. You know, that Douche from episode one that had his stable turn on him on the same show. Yeah, we're cheering him now. Yeah right. Ced sucks and no one likes him. He has shown no redeeming qualities or charm. The highlight of his career is being in a hospital bed with tubes in his nose for gods sake! Why would I cheer him? It wasn't a hot return but at least we got to find out what the Torture Chamber match will be. Ced vs Ralston isn't going to light the world on fire, but it's a step above the Freddy vs Ralston feud (Grade: D Plus)
Momentum: Freddy Escobar- F, Ced- D Plus, Will Ralston- C Minus

The Ced and Freddy segment backstage was pointless and it continued to make me like Ced less. You should've ended it with him standing tall
Momentum: Freddy Escobar- F, Ced- D

Overall, tell me if you're shocked, but SSW Forever goes 6-0 with F Minus scores. They buried Matt Lopez's credibility. Then ruined Dunkkan. Continued to misuse Jason Sabre. Had the coldest main event ever with Freddy and Ralston. Followed by a return for Ced that was lukewarm at best, before getting turned down a notch, seconds later in a short segment at the end of the show. Also the No Mercy reveal was disappointing. The only bright spot was the tag title match.
SomePerson91 chapter 8 . 11/21/2019
SSW Forever opened with another Edgar promo to Samuel. What is Samuel in this universe? Also why was there a Spirit Realm mentioned last week without any follow up? And who is Purple? Is that Samuel's nickname. Did they go trick or treating and Samuel was dressed as Barney. Is that why Edgar was called Purple. This shit makes no sense. This storyline came out of nowhere and it's unsalvagable at this point. I'm less than a paragraph in and I'm already annoyed. (Grade: F)

Thank god Jeff Rizzo isn't on commentary. Tuff and Perkins already suck for trying to say that the Contract signing is the most dangerous thing in wrestling. Although a contract was the reason Kenny Omega became GM so maybe it actually is. The Bum Bum Bum sound effect was stupid. I don't miss Rizzo, but I miss Evan Neal, David Harkness, Sofia Reynoso, Disco Inferno and Jazz right now...fuck Jay Masters though. (Grade: F)

"That's awesome Alan!" Sabre exclaims. "I like you way more than Kenny Om-"...No Jason Sabre doesn't kiss ass. Fuck your booking of him. Are you trying to make Jeff Rizzo look cooler by making the naturally coolest guy on the roster look like a dweeb. Imagine the Rock doing this in the aittude era in a feud with Billy Gunn. Embarassing. Why is Paul Catapult the one getting the last word in on Jeff Rizzo instead of Jason? Jason's the fucking champion. Make him look like one. Also why are we putting sympathy on Paul instead of on Jason. Why didn't Jason just punch Jeff in the face since they were face to face. This booking is awful. Let me remind you that Jason Sabre is the best WFA Wrestler in the world and this is how he's treated here. (Grade:F)

Alan Riddle was breaking up that fight like a parent breaks up children fighting. Sadly the Lopez/Devan feud is one of the best built...and the build still sucks. The way Riddle treated these four made them look like children. Alan Riddle is already reaching Kenny Omega and Bullet Club levels of ruining the show. Also, we're taking off the title match for a mixed tag that belongs on TV. Fuck that. #WomensEvolution (Grade: F)

Why is Perkins putting over Alan Riddle like a badass. The Wayne Bro vs Freelancer contract signing was short and did nothing. I did they do all of the More Bang For your Buck through the table? This is somehow the least offensive thing on the show. (Grade: D-)

Riddle is in his office with his feet on the desk, playing a handheld Pacman. This bastard doesn't watch his own show. What a AWFUL Authority figure. I mean, I can't blame him for watching this crap, but it's YOUR fucking show. Watch it. Why should the audience care if the guy running the show is busy playing an outdated game on a dollar store handheld system. Kenny Omega vs Alan Riddle is a feud no one wanted but it slightly makes sense because Omega was replaced by him. That six person tag sounds awful. Also, it's Pac-Man. Every level is the same Alan Riddle. It's the same concept with the same ghosts. (Grade: F)

The six man itself was below average and had no time. Why is Jeff Rizzo here? Who cares about Katarina Love/Jeff Rizzo's shipping. ACW is a pro at relationships. ICW is fine at it. SSW fucking sucks the Jizzo out of Rizzo's dick at it and that's not a compliment. Also, Freddy Escobar vs Will Ralston is the coldest World title match in WFA History. (Hype: F, Match: D Plus, Satisfaction: F, Overall: F)

Jason Sabre going to Alan Riddle is awful. Alan's advice to have him fight alone is fucking stupid. "You're right! I can do this!" Sabre laughs."Yes you can! I believe in you!" Riddle nods. "Thanks Alan!" Sabre leaves. This is not Jason Sabre. This is not the Ace of Pro Wrestling. Why does Alan Riddle bend over backwards to everyone who requests a match? Why is SSW so bad? (Grade: F)

Levi and Dunkkan had a decent segment. Only Dunkkan and Alan Riddle get to look strong. However, Levi is a canon undersized midget and Dunkkan is supposed to be a big monster. Why is Levi going 50/50 by doing the KO/Sami Zayn brawl spot. That's stupid and makes Dunkkan look weak. He did redeem himself and stand tall thougj. Maybe Dunkkan should be World Champion. (Grade: C Minus)

Jason Sabre vs Negro and Rizzo was the best match of Negro's career and one of the five worst in Jason Sabre's. Rizzo breaking a hold in a handicap match causes a DQ, but that wouldn't cause one in a tag match on any other show right? No consistency. At least Jason stood tall for the first time. (Hype: D Minus, Match: D Minus, Satisfaction: C, Grade: D Plus)

The ending was stupid. 'No Mercy' seems like a last second attempt to build interest to a show that no one gives a shit about. BTW, What is the card even? I don't know. Dunkkan vs Levi is happening. And the shitty tag match that Jason is apart of. Then theres a SSW Title match that no one wants to see. This card sucks. These last five weeks have built to nothing. (Grade: F)

Overall another F Minus. This shit sucks
SomePerson91 chapter 7 . 11/18/2019
Okay, so we're continuing to rip off the 2011 Raw Walk out. This is embarrassing. There was no originality here other than a six star match joke. Kenny Omega is no Triple H. Freddy Escobar is no John Cena (In fact, why didn't you put Jason Sabre here. That would've given him a rub). Levi's midget ass isn't Sheamus. Trivolt isn't CM Punk no matter how much you wish he was . This was embarassing and frustrating. Especially when you see the content that ICW and ACW put out and the fact that I have to grade on a Bell curve. Even then, it's awful. (Grade: F)

Trivolt was trying to top Jeff Rizzo as the worst commentator during the Freddy vs Levi match. I refuse to believe that anyone chanted Fight Forever. As for the midmatch Edgar promo... I hope he falls off that tree right onto his head. God dammit, we're getting a no contest. Fuck this episode already. (Hype: F, Match: C Minus, Satisfaction: F, Overall: F)

Kenny Omega getting fired was the right call even though you tried to make him out to be a babyface in the opening segment. Get your alignments straight. There's no way the crowd went crazy for Alan Riddle. Quit editing in fake reactions. The crowd is cold and dead and the arena is probably eighty percent empty. "Ladies and Gentlemen, it's time for a change!" Yes, we need change after only four episodes. And this all could've been avoided if you and the other dumbasses signed the contract in the opening segment! I don't care if Jason Lyric is stepping down. No one will miss seeing him despite Alan Riddle kissing his ass. Also why is Alan Riddle inserting himself into matches and the spotlight. I was joking about it in a earlier episode, but are we really going to make Alan Riddle the biggest star on the roster. (Grade: F)

The Kenny Omega & Will Ralston vs Alan Riddle & Jason Sabre match was short and disappointing. Much like SSW's run so far. Freddy did a run in. No one cared. Kenny helping Ralston up and telling him to not walk out on him again reminds me of an obsessive boyfriend. I'm not down for the Ralston/Kenny ship either. BTW, Ralston is the World Champ and he's catching up to Freddy Escobar's Universial title run for worst World Championship run. (Hype: C Minus, Match: D Plus, Satisfaction: D, Overall: D)

Who gives a shit about the Freddy Escobar vs Will Ralston match? No one? I'm shocked. This angle was lame. I feel bad for the fifty people in the audience who paid to see two matches. One of which that ended premature and the other that was quicker than a virgin on prom night. (Overall: F)

Another F Minus. You're supposed to go up from Episode 1 but you haven't. It just gets worse and worse. I fear for what's next.
SomePerson91 chapter 6 . 11/18/2019
First off, this was eye catching so there's a little bit of a change. However, This would be way better if we actually saw Samuel on Forever and knew who he was. The content of the promo was really stupid. The concept of the Spirit World and Samuel and Mama being from there is out of left field and downright awful. ACW did the spirit realm stuff must better and didn't force it down our throats right away. They introduced us slowly to it. This was a shit way to introduce a concept. (Grade: D)

I bet you're the only one who thought the Jeff Rizzo unplugging headset gag was hilarious. So you did it multiple times. Please end this joke soon. It's not funny. I'm not down for the Katarina/Rizzo ship. Abby and SJ had a decent match on SSW Forever. I am stunned. I actually don't mind the double count out since SJ can't afford a loss but you can't do heel vs heel. The triple threat was a natural solution. Plus Matt Lopez vs Devan got a little build. Wow. Simple booking works. I'm shocked. (Hype: D, Match: C Plus, Satisfaction: B, Overall: B Minus)

The Omega and Ralston segment was badly done. On the positive, it gave a motive for Ralston to stick around and hope his teammate to win the battle royal. On the other hand, both sounded like complete dorks with this dialogue. Not a good look for your World champ. (Grade: D Minus)

Rizzo & Negro vs Jason Sabre & Levi was a match with a stupid ending. You're telling me that the Ace of Pro Wrestling needs a commentators help to defend himself against Jeff Rizzo? Why is Sabre looking so weak despite being a Champion? Does Jeff Rizzo give good BJ's to the headbooker for this crappy push over the expense of someone who will go on to be the Best wrestler in WFA. Also, who is clamoring for a Paul Catapult vs Jeff Rizzo feud? No one? What a shock! (Hype: C Minus, Match: D Plus, Satisfaction: F, Overall: D)

Kenny Omega is a dweeb. So are Jared and Demi God. BTW, why is someone named Demi God hanging out with a guy named after a disgraced Subway Spokesperson? (Grade: F)

Monarchy vs Bulletproof sucked. No one remembers the UWA feud in SSW. More Bullet Club vanity crap. Why are we already teasing the idea of people breaking away from a faction that just jumped on the scene a few weeks ago? Is there no paitence with storytelling (Hype: F, Match: F, Satisfaction: F, Overall: F)

This was another crappy battle royal. The Monarchy stuff at the end did nothing for me. Congrats to Monarchy for being second place for most stinkers from a stable on one show. Ced being shown from the hospital bed with tubes in his nose makes no sense and was stupid as hell. He broke his neck, but he's not paralyzed. And the Meltzer Driver never put anyone in the hospital anyways, nor will it in the future of Forever, I assume. Also, you should've done that at the end for the sake of drama since you hinted at Ralston helping Johnny win. (Hype: D, match: F, Satisfaction: F, Overall: F)

This ending angle was awful. I know it's a rip off of Triple H and the vote confidence from 2011. Here's the thing though. No one feels sorry for Kenny Omega. This was out of nowhere and had no build. Why are dorks like Jason Sabre (That hurts to say) and Tim Michaels representing the roster (Actually the entire roster is full of dorks, nvm)? Since when did Bullet Club and Ultraviolent feud? Why is Katarina Love the Beth Phoenix? Why is Jeff fucking Rizzo getting the babyface dialogue and acting as if he and Paul are on the same side? Why is it only Kenny and not the rest of the Bullet Club? This is the dumbest angle in WFA History. I can't put into words how dumb this is and how it doesn't help anyone on the roster. (Overall: F)

This was another F Minus show. The only good thing was the Womens match. I'm assuming viewership is at an all time low, three episodes in and you pulled the ending angle out of your ass. Say what you want about the other promotions, but at least all of them had ONE star on the show by episode 3. You have none. This was downright depressing.
SomePerson91 chapter 5 . 11/17/2019
The crowd did not say no when Jason Lyric asked if they were tired of seeing him. The reactions are edited which explains Alan Riddle's pop last week. Ced has a broken neck but will be back before realistically possible. Kenny Omega is awful. And so are his clothes. Levi is such a whiny brat. I imagine him as a heel Mason Rivers from ACW. Why is your entire main event scene full of unlikeable talent when we're only on Episode 2? Also Jeff Rizzo is fucking awful and the unplugging the headset gag isn't funny at all. (Grade: F)

Freddy Escobar vs Matt Lopez was lame. SJ's feud with Abby continued at least. Also The Monster Devan debuted. No offense, but that's another stupid name. At least his debut was okay. Also, why should I care about Freddy or Matt on this show? (Hype: C Minus, Match: D Minus, Satisfaction: D Plus, Overall: D Minus)

The Wayne Bro's reason on why they deserve a tag title shot is because after they lost the title match last week, they got beat up. That's stupid. Also they look weak as babyfaces for muttering "Not tonight. We are both rather bruised from their attack.". Add them to the list of babyfaces that have lost credibility in two episodes. Also Kenny is going to get a penalty every time he says his stupid goodbye and goodnight catchphrase. Why can't anyone look good outside of Alan Riddle, Kenny Omega and apparently Dunkan? (Grade: F)

Rizzo isn't even an entertaining heel commentator. Disco Inferno and Evan Neal on ACW are far better at this. They never detract or make me want to stop watching the show. They also never bury talents without looking stupid. SSW has no stars. If I graded momentum or how hot they are, the highest would be a C Minus with a majority being in the D's & F's and Jeff Rizzo isn't helping. (Grade: F)

Freelancers vs Can-Am was very short. Neither team looked good. This should've been a Freelancer squash. (Hype: D, Match: F, Satisfaction: D Minus. Overall: F)

Tank Gibbs still blows and Devan sucks. Worst monster ever. SJ Steele gave a simple explanation that was to the point, but this did nothing to draw interest in the Devan character. (Grade: D Minus)

I'm just going to say it. The dialogue by Jason Sabre was awful. It wasn't witty like in any other thing he's done. It was awful and borderline insulting to any fan of his. Caesar vs Jason was alright for the short time but I have no desire to see Tiburon Negro and Jeff Rizzo against Jason Sabre. Jeff Rizzo is the worst character in SSW by a mile and this just screamed let's get Rizzo over. Also Kenny did his stupid gimmick again. (Hype: C Minus, Match: C Minus, Satisfaction: F, Overall: D)

Why are we already doing a crossbrand show? The brands haven't been established yet and we're already jumping into a brand war. The Edgar promo was eh. This show has killed my spirit. (Grade: D Plus)

Calling people jobbers when they aren't isn't going to make you look stronger Johnny if you win. And it'll look worse if you lose. Lilith saying that Dunkan only listens to her is a little semblance of Character. The only one I've seen that isn't greating or annoying so far (Grade: D Plus)

The Womens Championship battle royal is here and Jeff Rizzo said 'Slay Queen' during Katarina Love's entrance. This sucked. The ending was awful. Jeff Rizzo is unbearable. BTW, SSW Forever has the ugliest set of belts in WFA. How is there only five women on the roster? When does the Women's Evolution kick in? (Hype: D, Match: F, Satisfaction:F, Overall: F)

So we advertised a six man tag team main event, but we're not going to have it because fuck the fans. You don't get to have a decent match after all the crap you had to sit babyfaces all came out and got killed in less than a minute. This is a burial. Not heat for Bullet Club. (Grade: F)

This is a well deserved F Minus. Jeff Rizzo is awful. The Kenny Omega and Bullet Club angle is dragging the show down. All the babyface suck. Womens Wrestling sucks. Wayne Bro's are bitches. There was nothing redeemable here except the one part where Lilith said Dunkan only listens to her.
SomePerson91 chapter 4 . 11/17/2019
I have been forced into doing a SSW Retrospective by many members of the WFA Community. If you can't handle criticism, don't read this and let the other authors enjoy it. I was warned of the quality at the start, so I'm very scared. Let's go.

What the hell was this opening? The fans are getting to decide the GM? Why? Was there a political race in the weeks leading up to the first episode that's never explained. Tank Gibbs blows. Trivolt comes out and makes fun of Armando, who I don't know and Anthony Dre who I'm a huge fan of in ACW, but think is vanilla elsewhere. Is Alan Riddle supposed to be the most over guy in the company based on the reaction he got? "TriVolt. Shut up. Please! Like good god can you ever leave Anthony alone?". Is Alan also Anthony Dre's dad? I'm guessing Dre vs Trivolt is the big feud for this promotion. Uh...Kenny Omega... he came out in a hood, attacked all three with a chair and then took off his hood. This segment is a clusterfuck and going way too fast. Ced is the leader of the Bullet Club?! Are you kidding me?! What is this world. Also, why didn't any of the other three guys sign the contract to be the GM. Wait...it's not over. Levi the Great is here. That's such a stupid name. This segments too long already. Who is Dunkan? And why is his name spelled wrong? I guess Jason Lyric is the owner or something. "No! You will unban them, or the show won't go on. I will wait in the center of this ring" Please don't unban whoever the hell Dunkan and Lilith are so the show can end. At Least we set up a main event for tonight. I wish you had some type of video package to explain everything. This was awful and the worst first impression (Grade: F)

Jeff Rizzo unplugging Paul Catapults headset only for him to plug it back in five seconds later was pointless and not funny. You got much better with jokes in WFA High School and Operation WFA. The Freelancers vs Wayne Bros sound like a promising opener. Thank you for at least telling us the backstory of Freelancers never losing the tag titles. This wasn't too bad. A fine tag match with the freelancers getting their belts back. (Hype: C, Match: C Minus, Satsifaction: B, Overall: C)

The Ced segment with Bullet Club was... a segment. I guess there's a Ralston-Ced feud going on too. At least you showed the members...why is Kenny Omega here again? (Grade: D Plus)

Levi vs Dunkan was a solid enough tables match. Levi looked good and Dunkan won. Not too bad actually. Although using the End of Days to finish a table match is stupid since Dunkan's back would go through first and not Levi's face. Point reduction for that lapse of logic. Surprisingly the shows gotten better after that shit stain of an opening segment. (Hype: F, Match: C, Satisfaction: B Minus, Overall: C Minus)

I know both characters, but this was very random. Also...are you seriously telling me that if SJ didn't do that, there wouldn't have been more than two Women in the title match. Ugh. I can see why they said I'd be frustrated. (Grade: D Plus)

Jeff Rizzo is no Jason Sabre and that isn't a hindsight thing, that's a thing that rings true over here as well. Jason Sabre beating Negro to win the Killjoy title was the right move. I guess Rizzo vs Sabre is where this is going. It sounds okay for a first title defense for Jason. It's Jason and based on history, he always delivers. This match was probably the worst match of his career though. (Hype: B Minus, Match: D Plus, Satisfaction: B Plus, Overall: C)

Ced vs Will Ralston was awful. Ralston playing superman for the first part of the match. Then we had the shitty heel turn of Will Ralston. On the same episode that we established Ced as the Bullet Club co leader only for them to turn on him on the same show. This shit sucks . Ced isn't even a good babyface based off the earlier segment. He's not sympathetic. He's an asshole who got turned on. (Hype: D Minus, Match: F, Satisfaction: F, Overall: F)

Let me start by saying that, KIRANTHERAY IS SUCH A BETTER WRITER NOW COMPARED TO THIS CRAP. This was an F MINUS. In a way, I look forward to seeing how you evolve, but right now, this is awful. God help me as I go through this. I hope we get to current Kiran quality sooner rather than later. The opener and the ending was the most frustrating thing of all time. This Bullet Club stuff sucks and there's a lot of stuff that doesn't make sense. I guess the Tag title match, Levi thing and Jason winning a title was okay.

AshWrites99 chapter 58 . 8/4/2018
Okay, last weeks show was decent and was on it's way to being a good show (B) until the post credits scenes. Let's hope SSW Forever hits a homerun tonight

Devan Gray vs Jacob Carry: Firstly we started off with a match as opposed to a weird segment in a different place. It's refreshing. Also having the announcers advertise what's happening on the show was good. A lot of six man's though, so clearly you're going the New Japan route. Ace & Ass reunion tour. Fuck yeah, this'll be SSW Forever's best show if that main events. I'm interested in who they would team with, because they both hate each other and I predict that they won't agree on who it is. Anyways, Devan picked up a needed win as he continues to be built up. Tetsuya Sensui was an unexpected debut. I don't have an opinion on him, but it seems out of left field and just a way to extend this feud.
Grade: B- (Match: 2.75/5)

Alan Riddle is the worst boss: No wonder Forever is in the shape it's in. This fucker is too busy playing a gameboy instead of running the damn show. Kenneth's dealings being mentioned was good and I like superstars like the Wane Bro's mentioning it and pointing out how shitty Alan is as a boss. The Cobra Club appearance took away from that but I'm okay with a tag match being set up.
Grade: C-

Ana Dracsu vs Alexandra Xenou: Solid match, lame feud.
Grade: D (Match: 2.5/5)

Cobra Club attacks Wayne's: I like how you followed up on Ace & Dash's previous comments. Good build for Forsaken (Hopefully coming soon...I blame that Richard Ryder guy)
Grade: B

Alfonso vs Mar: Wait? So, we're building up Mar all this time and you have him put over Alfonso on free tv. I get it, but this was not the time to do this. Mar has been built as a threat and you had him lose in the midcard after an out of nowhere finish. Way to bury the guy's character. I'm not happy with this decision. The promo that followed was very generic and did nothing to help Alfonso. Mar's post match attack got some heat back, but he lost more than he gained tonight. And you also took away the rub that Alfonso got by not having him stand tall and cut his promo. Bad business
Grade: F (Match: 2/5)

Ace & Ass unite again: You know what, you probably knew that was a bad decision to kill Mar's credibility randomly, so you decided to give these two a segment, because it's guaranteed entertainment. Jason tearing down Brian's claim of being the Ace was tremendous, as was his mention of the Renegade's name and the Sequel joke that those Smarks like to talk about on WFA Reddit and other websites. As was every comeback that Sabre had following it. They play off each other well. Alan Riddle is still the worst boss and I would be down with Sabre punching him in the face. I like Alan forcing Brian to work with Sabre by threatening his title shot. I don't like what he used to force Jason. He could punch Brian whenever, even if Riddle bans him. With that being said, this was fun and at least provided a reason for their reunion tour.
Grade: A

Tim Michaels & Furi Za Faia vs The Ace, The Ass & The Jackass: Ralston joining the 'Brian Phillips sucks' club by flipping him off was great. Jason Sabre groaning was a nice tidbit, but too insider for the casual fan. Ralston's always been potrayed as some sort of hero and him and Sabre barely interact if ever on TV. Why would Jason be annoyed when Ralston isn't portrayed that way? If it's a set up for a mini feud on Forever, I'm down. Their styles mesh well (As evidenced by ACW). Everyone in this match was brilliant. From the tag work of Furi, to the heel work of Tim, to the three leaders of the Origin and their feud. This was great. The match was good. And the right person took the pin. Other than the minor tidbit between Ralston and Sabre, I can't say anything bad. Even the post match promo was good. Sabre vs Tim in a No Holds Barred match was a good move and something that's been built extremely well. However, this brings us to a either one could win. Is Tim going to establish himself as a top heel by pinning the 'Rightful' leader of his former stable or is Sabre going to use the win to catapult himself into the main event? It's interesting.
Grade: A (Match: 3.75/5)

Dan Riley, Argo & Angelo Santos vs Samuel, Matt Lopez & Trivolt: An Argo match is main eventing over that previous match. This match already has heat with me. The match was paint by numbers and the heels winning was the right call as was Argo taking the pin. The match ended the same as Alonso vs Mar, which gets heat. Samuel's promo was needed, because it provides a good story for Dan Riley leading into his title match. This was well done, but not on the level of the last Segment. This is a story of Dan Riley earning Samuel's respect and beating him for the title (Hopefully). I look forward to this and the development carried the segment far. Also, no shitty post show scenes. Thank you for closing out where it needed to.
Grade: A- (Match: 2.5/5)

Overall: B- Great show that would've probably been A- or higher had Alonso vs Mar & The women's match not happened. The booking for that sucked after watching Mar get built up these last few weeks and the rub meant nothing because of the post match attacked. But, the Ace & Ass stuff was tremendous. Alan Riddle's stuff progressed storylines and Samuel vs Dan Riley established a direction for their feud. All in all, a good night.
