junkbot1419 chapter 78 . 6/12 I'm playing through Dark Souls 3 right now. Having fought the Abyss Watchers, I have a bad feeling regarding Quelana. |
Wynamo Willagers chapter 78 . 4/29 Enjoying reading about miserable people... does that make me a terrible person? It's up in the air. I enjoyed Roman being back in the game, Winter's dialogue with an unintelligible baby was fun, and of course, Sun and Neptune being themselves was delightful as always. I especially enjoyed Shalquoir. I'm inclined to side with Yang on whether or not she'd trustworthy, though of course we're not totally privvy to Blake's experiences with her yet... |
XXxxxadisxxxXX chapter 7 . 4/4 I really like your writing and the basic concept of this story, but with the whole homosexual undertones between Artorias and Gil it's just not for me. The writing is enjoyable and the story is interesting, but this is a mix of drama and to be honest, I don't want anything to do with it. The characters are believable and fun to read about but whenever this comes up it just feels forced. In this sense I'm talking about Smough and Gil, but it's still there. I wouldn't have cared if it wasn't a large plot point, yet here it is. One thing you really have going for this story is that you seem to have planned it out, which is a huge step up from what I usually see on this site. I wish you the best of luck with your story. |
Another S.T.A.L.K.E.R chapter 77 . 4/3 Don't care about the Gough brothers. Waiting for wolves! |
TheHolyBlade chapter 77 . 4/3 The first person I thought the stone skinned girl is was Shanalotte with the Ashen Mist heart being the thing she used to bring about that vision. Its prolly just me playing DS2 a whole lot lately and loving everything but the Shrine of Amana-or just Hell in short, but I am going with my guts here. Its prolly Shanalotte. |
Wynamo Willagers chapter 77 . 4/2 Ahh, I loved this so much. Love is in the air, and now my insides are feeling disgustingly fluffy. Which is to say, the right amount of fluffy. Gil dearly needed this after all the shit he's been through, and even if Smough is far from perfect, I'm glad in hindsight that he made Gil's life that much better. I can't help but look forward to if (or when) all four knights are back together again. (I have no idea who the hell the sweatshirt girl is.) Weiss' feelings hitting her like an oncoming train was wonderful, too. Also, surprisingly real, like the flipping of a switch. Sometimes the brain is spontaneous like that, and I loved seeing her trying to cope with the sudden epiphany. The whole situation with Patches is hilarious and ominous all at once, I'm intrigued as to what Ocelotte is all about, Jaune's resurfacing grief is all too real for me - is there any *right* way to handle loss? I'm all caught up now from when I last left off at chapter 72-ish, and I'm seriously glad I decided to continue. It's incredible to me how far the story has come since I picked it up a year or two ago. This would have to be among my top 10 favorite fanfictions. To be sentimental at 1 AM, thank you so much for writing this. It's been a wild ride so far. |
Wynamo Willagers chapter 76 . 4/2 This chapter was delightfully unsettling. Honestly I still don't know what the deal with the locust preacher is in DSIII, but I love how you used him along with Ocelotte. Which is of course to say, I have no idea what the hell is going on yet, but that's about par for the course. |
Wynamo Willagers chapter 74 . 4/2 Things are getting a little eerie now. I can only guess that that final scene was a reenactment of Raime killing Nadalia dead, but apart from that I have no idea what's going on. It's nice to see Sun and Neptune again, too. Their banter gives me life. I still haven't watched past volume 4, let alone seen any RWBY in nearly two years now. I'm still totally in the dark on what must be 50% of this crossover, but I'm still not lost reading through this fic yet. I think that's a pretty good achievement. |
Wynamo Willagers chapter 73 . 4/2 Wonderful chapter! The apologies all around made me feel all warm and fuzzy on the inside, even if Arty still has some issues to work out (which, all said? He's made it so far since the beginning of this story already, and I feel it slowly coming to a head). Ozpin's interrogation would have to be my favorite part of the chapter. It's just satisfying. Mecha-Gil continues to prove his badassery in my eyes. |
Wynamo Willagers chapter 72 . 4/2 Ohh man, the end of this chapter was great. I like having my heartstrings tugged on. Of course learning more about Eleum Loyce and following mecha-Gil and Winter was fun, as well. |
The Wizardrous Magicman chapter 73 . 1/26 His semblance seems kinda similar to Immolation as well, which if it had been in DS3 would probably have been the most fitting pyromancy for him. Also, if Atlas winds up flying, that's neat. It offers up some interesting opportunities to tie it to other places. I've forgotten how much Eleum Loyce and Irithyll are to do with Atlas here, but if there's just Eleum Loyce and Atlas nearby or as one and the same, you could do some great things with maybe a corrupted Lud and Zallen, and Reindeer Gryphons being used in siege warfare to bring it down and break the seal on the Old Chaos, releasing the Burnt Ivory King? That's speculation on my part, but no matter what I'm engaged, especially with the Sulyvahn thing puppeteering people after his death at the hands of the Moonlight Greatsword. Since Moonlight, Crystals, Seath and Immortality go together, I'm wondering if he used his semblance to mutate the magic of the MGS into binding him with an artificial scale, like Seath? Or perhaps mutated it to the Dark, and escaped into The Abyss instead? I'm excited to find out. Especially if he shows up as a dark cloud with glowy red eyes, ready to Pursue the heroes. Hell, weren't Lud and Zallen dark and glowy? |
lolthisisjefff chapter 37 . 1/10 the death of sulyvahn felt anticlimactic. he felt hyped up only to die 12 days after his reveal as bad to the main cast. dont take my word ive only played dark souls 1 and 2 and am just on my DS3 playthrough |
IlliterateLibrarian935 chapter 72 . 11/23/2019 god damn this was a satisying read. fallen back in love with your writing style, and tbh i sense another re-read. |
The Wizardrous Magicman chapter 72 . 11/16/2019 At first I thought it was a Wind Knights' Lot from Jojo's reference, where they encountered Tarkus, Bruford, and Dooby. I can't remember if Black Iron Tarkus has appeared in the story yet, but Knight Slayer Tsorig, who tries to strike fear by wearing his legendary armor and wielding Raime's FUGS, wears the Ivory Warrior ring which breaks foes' guards more easily, won by a bloody confrontation and him cutting off their fingers. Also I've just coincidentally to your chapter, been looking up the Winter War just a bit earlier. I'd recommend looking into it, the Finnish put up an incredible defence and despite losing and having to give up territories, they suffered a fifth of the casualties of Russia, due to favourable weather, guerilla tactics, Russia's inferior military competence, and a bunch of other reasons. |
IlliterateLibrarian935 chapter 71 . 9/28/2019 another well-written chapter. i’d disagree tbh, i felt like the vengarl/raven convo was the highlight but whatever. a good read as always. |
