I just realised I forgot to leave a review. I read it right when you posted it, but it was late for me and I went to sleep right after.
This is such a perfect angsty hurt!Sam/protective!Dean brotherly fic. I always wondered what happened to Wandell's friends who were 'looking for someone to string up'. Maybe they weren't that good at looking for people? Lucky for show!Sam. Unlucky for your Sam that one of Wandell's friends was good at tracking people down.
I feel like it's very Sam-like to get kidnapped/tortured/almost murdered but just turn up back at the motel like it's no big deal after he's escaped. Dean freaking out was great, like he wants to be pissed at Sam but he's way too busy being pissed at the guy who hurt Sam.
You always capture them both so perfectly.
I just really loved this!

Love these kind of stories the best! Your imagery was squemish (as in I was grimacing), riveting and totally in character of the boys. The psychic knew, after touching Sam, that it wasn't actually Sam that killed Wandell. Maybe that was enough to make Sam believe it wasn't actually him. Thanks so much for sharing!

And just a side note there is a timeframe of 6-24 hour for stitches (lovingly called the golden period) that you normally don't stitch a wound given concern for infection... because by closing it up you cause are likely just forming an abscess

Loved this, you have spoiled us lately :) Could totally see Dean wanting to rip the lungs out of the guys who did this to Sam, but with Davis dead and the psychic helping save Sam and get him back to the motel he will have to work through his frustration! Just loved how Dean took care of injured Sam, and tried to distract him with questions as best he could whilst stitching him up.
Would love to see this continued with another chapter ... but them I'm greedy when it comes to your writing! ;)

Hey, I remember this Dean. He's the Dean that used to threaten to rip the lungs out of anyone who so much as laid a finger on his Sammy. We don't get to see him that often, nowadays. Thanks for bringing him out to play. M'wah!

Awwiieeeee, I love Hurt!Sam and BigBro!Dean, they're both so adorable, and you write their characters wonderfully! I could definitely see this happening in the show. And I also really liked how you spread out the descriptions of Sam's condition, rather than just one big paragraph of word vomit shoving details in the readers' face. It made it much more interesting and easier to take in the full extent of his injuries. Honestly, you seriously sound like a professional writer. Every time I read your fics, I'm absolutely delighted by, not only the stories themselves, but the flawless form and grammar/punctuation. You're definitely one of my favorite writer's on this site!
