i really liked the internal/external dialogue!

Loved this! DS9 super underplayed Julian's enhancements, they could have done so much more with them and just dropped the ball.

I think we, or at least I, grew a bit... complacent to Julian. After those first few episodes after the reveal, I never imagined he'd use his enhancements for dark reasons. This was short and sweet. Well done :)

Enjoyable, but not very calculated. By that I mean if you had super high intelligence and strength, I'm sure there would b more fun ways of playing with people.

I enjoyed this little taste of dark bashir anyways:)

I think this story's awesome! I loved the interaction between Garak and Bashir and how Bashir hides the dark side that his genetic enhancements bring out of him!

Yeek. I twitched when I got to the part where Julian hurt Garak. That certainly was a surprise. Granted Julian is a doctor so he has to hurt people to help sometimes, aka rebreak bones, apply pressure, etc. Interesting that Julian has a different kind of consciousness here like he did in that one episode where his body was taken over by a criminal. Oooh! I never thought of that before, how his genetically enhanced past would have affected him in that ep. Thank you for the food for thought!

Okay, I'm gonna be honest, i haven't seen DSN. However, you drew me in. I'm intrigued with the story, and I want to know more about this world. You did an amazing job with Julian's internal monologue, and Garak's stubbornness was conveyed through the subtle undertones in the story. Great job.
