This is so beautiful. You have a great artistic way of telling the story. The frustrated artist in me loves it.

The story is bittersweet - making me want to smile with tears trailing on my cheeks. The masochist in me glorifies this piece.

You know, whenever I feel I need an angsty stab to the chest, I come here and read one of your fics. And no I'm not being sarcastic. I guess I'm just one of those people who believes a bit of pain every now and then is good.

I didn't think i would but those last two sentences had my entire face break. My heart really cried out for him - I don't even want to imagine how his life continues or ends, or even what time period be manages to survive to.

Absolutely beautiful one-shot. Incredibly well-thought and executed. Painfully and lovingly emotional. Im glad i gave this a chance, otherwise I'd have passed up a truly wonderful piece.

My only suggestion would be to flesh it out with description. Not necessarily create a sequel or a second chapter, but rather put in some senses such as sounds, touch, smells, etc. It would give your paragraphs the "oomph" in structure and give this read the viewers it rightfully deserves. _
