I think this story is fine. It has direction. It about the journey of Severus and Hermiones relationship and its just starting to get interesting. Maybe reread this story yourself and don't change it too much. It doesn't need it.
The next chapter maybe write about Hermione telling Serverus about the baby and then follow the pair as their relationship grows and develops. I think that's a fine story. Keep writing and update soon.

Was not Occulamency going to be used as a cover for their weekly engagements? So they could Urm, spend time doing both activities as it were.
Additionally, I wonder when Hermione is going to tell Snape about her lack of experience? I wonder how much Severus has in your tale. Some have him a virtual monk following Lily’s death, other he’s a seducer who has a health sex life, but no connection to his bed partners.
