How did I forget Bruce Banner too? I'm dying of internal laughter because a lot of trouble could have been avoided if he remembered to just ask people stuff.

Normally I don't like second person viewpoints but it works great here.

The cloak's playful behavior is honestly great.

ProwlSIC chapter 37 . 2/22
Good story so far. Can you update it soon?
CureCaligraphy chapter 6 . 10/3/2019
So I just /actually watched/ the damn movie and quite a few things are different from what I had imagined them mentally- the spears the Dormammu zealots use, for one. Another is the spacial windows, but those are next chapter...

Anyway, I found myself silently commenting the beginning sentences to your chapters as I watched.

God I love this story.

The fact that Stephen is currently valiantly trying to Not Do Feelings is a very Sherlock thing to do and I'm glad I'm not the only one who sees it.

That and I just entered British entertainment hell and am utterly failing to not like it. So I kind of have Sherlock on the brain in general. And Rivers Of London. And Harry Potter. And Good Omens.

I need help.

Glad Pangborn has his magic back!
There's a scene in Sherlock where John says Sherlock will outlive God trying to have the last word. Your story reminded me of that :)

Please update soon.
Grammarosprey chapter 14 . 9/15/2019
So I'm reading your fic for about the fifth time, and I'm just now realizing this.
You did a better job fleshing this out than the movie did, and it seems an important part of Stephen's character.
He's curious. To the point of stealing knowledge that he isn't allowed. And I love how he dives into sorcery and learns all the difficult spells and now, discovering healing spells, a blend of his two worlds, HAS to learn them. He questions everything to find out how it works.
Even with the relics, the description of his interactions with them brings out his observational/curious side really well.
I really appreciate that as it's one of my favorite things about Stephen.
Grammarosprey chapter 16 . 9/8/2019
The explanation of his magical capabilities is excellent. Easy to understand, short. Very nice.
Grammarosprey chapter 35 . 9/5/2019
I get the feeling that Christine and Elise will be besties. If they ever meet.
Grammarosprey chapter 36 . 8/31/2019
Every part of this is so well planned! Love it!
And the only reason I haven't dropped more reviews is I was too busy reading. This is excellent, although unconventionally styled.
