I am lost in regards to this Patrick guy. She brings him up at the odd times and then he calls her for absolutely the stupidest reason to recall something they did in the academy. Then Beckett admits he touched her breasts. Thought the guy was gay? So why is he touching her at all? If I was Castle I would be thinking alright already. Can we stop discussing your friend while we are trying to have sex. Kind of a mood breaker.

A really good ending for this story. It was sad to see Darnley and family go back home, but now we know they're going to be back for the whole Christmas vacation. I'm looking forward to that.
Julia is already in sixth grade! Where did time go? She was only three years old when we met her!
Okay, I was surprised that Eliza can also see spirits, just for the fact she's so young, and she never said anything to anyone, but on the other hand it's not surprising at all because everyone else in her family has some degree of the same ability. It's understandable Castle and Beckett were mildly shocked hearing about that, but Julia's reaction is the one I liked the most. Like it was the most natural thing in the worl. Maybe for her it is, maybe she just wanted Eliza to think that. Either way, I loved that.
I don't know if we get to see their book tour in the next story, but I'm curious to know how it goes with the Alexis and Louis staying with the girls. I'm not worried, they're more than capable, but they've never done that, I'm intrigued. Anyhow, I'm really glad Louis is pretty much one more family member by now. He fits really nicely there.
I'm waiting eagerly for the next story.

Good for Madeline and Rudolph... Christmas for them is not coming fast enough (side note)... so Eliza is seeing spirits too?... cool... well not for Kate really (miss skeptical lol sort of)... I hope Eliza does get to dance with Julia and Mari... and two thumbs up for a potential Caskett baby... Great writing as Usual!

Very, very fun chapter. I keep forgetting their home is right up the beach, I was expecting a barbecue and maybe (ok, more than maybe) some time in the pool. It was more of a beach party, and it was way better. It was just close friends and still there were a lot of kids, when did that happen? Anyway, I think that was what made their day so fun.
As usual I loved the memories and flashbacks, but mostly it's really good to see Beckett and Darnley getting close again. It's not like they seemed distant when they found each other again, but their relationship seems somewhat, I don't know... Evolved? It's actually like they've found lost lost relatives, and I'm loving it.
And now of course you went and mentioned they're going to be there for Christmas, and I'm really eager for that, but sadly for that to happen they need to go back home first, so I guess that's what's next. I don't want this visit to end!

CHRISTMAS WITH DARNLEY! :)... if you give Kate another baby will there be any chapters during the pregnancy... that would be pretty cool... like when she first start to show and the last 5 weeks of her pregnancy...any who great writing as usual!

Very good chapter. I was hoping this chapter was exactly like that, and also that we're not done with the visitors just yet, I'm enjoying this too much.
I can already tell that Maddy is going to become a really good friend to the girls, and how could she not if one of her dads is so close to Beckett? I'd love to see them grow as close as they are to Kath and Marie.
The great thing about having Darnley there? The stories. I think I'm as addicted to them as Castle is. I can't get enough of them.
They have mentioned a barbecue several times so far, and I can't wait to see if that's what comes next... fingers crossed!

Very nice chapter, they all had a really good day together, but it's impossible to avoid that feeling you get when you're nearing the end of a vacation, when you're sad it's ending but, in the other hand, you're relieved you're finally going home.
It was nice all of the couples had a (I'm guessing) last dinner together. For some reason I'm thinking they're saying goodbye to their friends, but it's only Skye and Mary and Brennan and Clara, all the rest are going back to the same place, I just realized.
I also kinda enjoyed their talking about Louis and Alexis' relationship, low key as it was. I think it's the first time both groups of parents do that. I think it helps immensely not only the fact they are related, but they're good friends too. Less awkward I think.
I don't know if next chapter is everyone saying goodbye or if we'll see them already home, but either way I can't wait to see it.
