I don't mind the repetition. I like seeing Ron's perspective on the same moment. Like you said, both characters' views on this matter to this particular story, since Lydia saw this as Ron attacking her and Ron saw it as Lydia flirting with him and him responding. I'm glad you put his thoughts in here, because otherwise he seems like a rapist... and he kind of almost was, but he didn't mean to be. I also really love that you made him feel so bad about it. Ron and Lydia are kind of similar in that they are both somewhat spacey and weird. Lydia misinterprets people all the time too, so it's not far-fetched that something like this would happen between them. It's sad that Ron convinced her to feel kind of ashamed by this, but fitting with his character - and again, I like that he felt bad about it.

I hope you write more Party Down stuff, because hardly anyone else does, and you're really good with these two characters at least. I'd love to read more if you were to write it.

I'm so happy I looked at your profile for more Rick and Morty stuff and noticed this story. Party Down seems pretty much ignored by the rest of the world, so this is a pleasant surprise.

And you did a great job writing it too! This scene in the show really creeped me out. I know Ron doesn't mean to be a creep, but he was sooo creepy in this episode, and Lydia forgave him in the show so much faster than I would have if I were her.

You wrote her feelings very well here - I could imagine her kind of reacting this way if she hadn't gotten to her pepper-spray. She's a kind of weird character, but the way I see it, she'd be like 80% likely to be too scared to stand up to someone like Ron and 20% likely to freak out and attack him. She's kind of one of those people who is really calm and sweet and naive, but every once in a while just gets tired of people and snaps - like when she accidentally did cocaine in that one episode and got kinda mean at the end when the lady gave her makeup instead of more drugs. Damn, she's hilarious. I wish this show went on longer than it did. Maybe I should message you about it rather than writing such a long review that's kind of turning into not a review... I love this show.
