Creed's thoughts at the beginning are in character - true - but they made me feel a bit antsy as it perfectly mirrors a real life abuser: separate the desired woman from friends and family and slowly make her realise how he is the only one fit for her. Whether she likes it or not. I do hope he changes in the mean time.

Isn't it frustrating when he follows his instincts, realises they worked perfectly, and then decides to go back to being a jerk? Hopefully, his instinct will get him back on his knees till he learns the lesson.

First couple of paragraphs were not so good simce I was thinking they were a quick summary of near future... but when I figured it was just Victors plans for the futhre it all went well and was ok. I liked the end and now will move to the next one.
