Ah yes! Salt and beds drove the plot and my murderous dumner in my survival mod.

You need salt? And yet you search for it in the southern holds? Seems a bit, don't take it the wrong way, stupid. Just where is the greatest salt reservoir in Mundus? What about...the sea? Why Riften and not Dawnstar? All you need are bottles. If you've ever been at Morvunskar or such (human dungeons: forts, bandit hideouts, necromancer/mages' dens, whatever), you've got bottles without end.

You fill them with sea water in front of the blacksmith's, chop some firewood up the hill near the village entrance, go to the Windpeak Inn to the cooking pot and voila. Salt. Rinse and repeat and you can go home with hundreds of salt piles.

Okay, I admit, it only works with a mod, and I have quite a few immersion mods so I don't even know which one lets me boil salt... But still. :-)

How is it that this story has all but clinched the decision to buy Skyrim on the Switch?

I really have nothing to say about this story, because there isn't much to say about it, but I enjoyed it. It was funny and I'm happy to hear your character is a female because for whatever reason I kept thinking "this character is a female". I didn't know you could make your character a cat person though...

Anyway, this story was a perfect example of why I love reading your stories.

Have a great day.

I honestly just want to cook these gods-damned salmon steaks and mammoth!
Someone who understands!
