This is a fucking masterpiece and you’ve left me with a cliffhanger. Please come back!

This is a fantastic story and I'd love to see where it goes if you ever update it. Finding a good story with so much plot potential and having it drop off at the start is so disappointing but sometimes stories just don't happen. Still, looking forward to it big time if an update happens.

I really enjoy the dynamics between Ino and Sai, great character building x

I just fell in love. Shika x sai! Omg, that would be the best. This first chapter with the steamy start and that angsty kind of ending.
Damn. It was amazing! Love it.

I know it only has 2 chapters and not finished I was planning on reading it when it more chapters but... I couldn't resist! And yh I guessed it it was amazing!

This is interesting... Well Jashin always is, so xD I wonder how things will turn out, though. First Sai x Shika fic I'm reading, I think, and I'm liking it!

Woo, where is this going? No, don't tell me, surprise me! I'm interested. Like really interested. So, a group of Jashin worshippers are in the woods, using the village folk as sacrifices. Okay, now what are Ino and Sai's next course of action.

I have been quietly screaming to myself at at least three different points in this chapter. 1. The Cook discovering that /something/ was off. 2. That I guessed right with where you were going with the whole... 'likes the shadows' deal. Very nice. And, of course, 3. THE ENDING.

I am literally dead inside until this is continued. I have so many questions. I Love so many things about this. Sai and Ino's relationship, the fact that it doesnt feel... /awkward/ and wrong that the side characters of Naruto are actual good ninjas. I feel that in a lot of stories for some reason? I blame Kishimoto for not giving specifics, lol.

I wanted to share my favourite part of this chapter:
Ino snorts, patting him on the head sympathetically. "Exactly. And besides, this will be fine. Just flirt with these people like you do with Shikamaru." She must catch the bewildered expression that Sai knows he's wearing, because she freezes, pale eyes narrowing. "Sai. How do you flirt with Shikamaru?"

"I don't? My books say flirting is a social and occasionally sexual activity involving verbal or written communication as well as body language by one person to another, either to suggest interest in a deeper relationship or—"

"Stop," Ino says, just shy of begging. She presses a hand over her face, takes a breath, looks at him, and then takes another. Sai can practically see her counting down from ten in her head, but he doesn't have any idea why. "Okay, let me rephrase this. When you want to have sex with Shika—" She makes a face like even saying those words pain her "—how do you let him know?"

"I tell him?" It comes out as more of a question than Sai meant it to.

Ino still has a hand pressed over her face. "Please tell me there's an 'or' in there somewhere."

Sai tries vainly to find the answer she's looking for. "I…also insult his dick?"

"Of course you do," Ino sighs. She raises her head and looks him over in something like despair, then says, "You know what? Let me do the talking. Just—just stand there and look pretty, okay?"

It is so /right/. Of course Sai wouldnt be flirting to get with Shikamaru. Of course be would comment on how Shikamaru's dick isnt all that much. /OF COURSE IT ACTUALLY /WORKS/

I am absolutely thrilled for this story! I may have just read the first chapter, but I feel like I have been part of this particulat canon!divergance(is that what you call it?) for a lifetime already! I'm so invested in the characters already, even though you have only given us so much to go on...

The tone of your stories are wonderful, and this one is no exception. As stated, I feel invested already. The way Sai thinks of Shikamaru in secret, yet stays so true to his character on the outside (aka his root facade) is just... wonderful. The way you have written shikamaru is perfect and so in character and just- gah! I love it so much. Also, I'm always a hoe for some InoSaku insert side-eye emoji here.

I know how hard it is to get out chapters, as well as how much time it takes to even have a finished draft - Especially if one has one or more beta readers! (Different time-zones dont help either.) But il going to just try and push you a little, because I'm super into reading this one through to the finish! Please continue writing? I Love what you do.

Oh shit boiiii I love this xD

I am very interested in this story and how in lighting it comes across as. Sai x Shikamaru is new to me and going by these two chapters, well I have to say that you have me hooked to see how things progress. I love Sai and Ino's bromance*! :) It feels so natural.
The symbol at the end of the chapter just screams 'horror' movie time! XD I'm really looking forward to reading more and seeing what develops between the couples. Thank you very much for sharing this story with us here! ;)
