Excellent plot idea. The holes JKR left in 'SS' over the halloween night need an explanation. A question, would Dumbles really trust anyone enough to explain what he was doing without obliviation? If James had his invisibility cloak, wouldn't Lily have tried to use it? Keeping Harry asleep through all this is a smart idea. Was he looked at by goblin healers for the injury? Settling them in Little Whinging is just too devious. Not in Petunia's neighborhood. The Dursleys knew ahead of time Harry was coming? Nice, nice. Only bother I have is that at that time there was no Prince Harry yet - my, his parents weren't even married yet for a few more years at the point when Harry Potter became an orphan.
