This is such an amazing story. I absolutely loved it. You have such good pacing and I never felt like I wanted to skip paragraphs or chapters. And everything felt very organic, never forced. I especially liked the way Jyn's story was driven by her own choices. The movie bothered me a bit because she was just being tugged around by other people the whole time, never really getting involved or making much meaningful contribution to her own fate. I like your version of Jyn so much better and Cassian's interest in her makes much more sense this way. She has a lot of agency and wit here and I was very sorry to reach the end of the story. When I saw the movie, I wasn't at all sad to see them die at the end because I never really got a chance to know them or have a reason to care. If your story had continued for another 30 chapters, I still think I would've been sorry to reach the end of it. If you write a book ever, I will buy it and tell everyone what a good writer you are!

In hindsight Chirut does oversell stuff, and LOL about Jyn and Baze's reactions. Also nice descriptive work on how Cassian and Baze wear their anger
