Aww, the next chapter is the last? Things just got interesting!

This voice is interesting, and I suspect Ruby’s subconscious isn’t wholly the source. Salem’s always struck me as the kind with plans within plans, and several positive outcomes. After seeing the jars, Ruby’s thoughts snapped from ‘Salem has to die’ to ‘Salem is right that this is unladylike’ and back again. Oddly generous of her to not beat Ruby after that incident, too. Additionally, Ruby’s inner voice compelled her to eat the drugged blueberries, then berated her for succumbing to the effects.

In this chapter, Ruby gets savage. She forgoes Tyrian’s weapon for a wooden splitter (what is that, anyways, a wood-cutting axe? A sledgehammer?) simply because the weapons are more ‘civilized’ than what Salem and her Court deserve. That’s a distinct trade of efficiency for brutality. Also, the voice actively conflates ‘I don’t know that they’re coming to rescue me’ with ‘They aren’t coming to rescue me’. Ruby’s wrath might turn on them next.

Now, Tyrian was taken by surprise, for sure. If Salem did set this in motion, she’s the only one who knows. As for why, I have two guesses. One is that she wants to bring Ruby to her side. Straightforward enough; Ruby tries to kill Salem, realizes she has true immortality. Voice points out that working for Ozpin is clearly unsafe, with the ease Ruby was captured. Work with Salem, wait for a time to finish her for good, and keep giving excuses on why she needs to wait.

More generally, she could be trying to break Ozpin. Twisting his greatest hope, a Silver-Eyed Warrior, into a metaphorical monster.

Or maybe this isn’t a plan at all. Maybe seeing her mother’s eyes preserved in her jar triggered a psychotic break and Ruby’s gone off the deep end. Regardless, this development has so much interesting potential, which is why I’m sad to hear it’s going to end next chapter.

how strong is Ruby to be able to smash all of Tyrian's aura in one go cause among the 4 Ruby seems to be weakest physically

Once again another great chapter, love how dark this story is (when I got a notification for this, I dropped everything to read this XD. I was also literally reading chapter 5 & 6 earlier today). Sad this story is ending next chapter but I’m super excited to see how it ends too.
I got a theory on how this ends.
Ruby goes on a rampage killing Watts, Hazel and Salem. While Qrow & JNR try to find Ruby, Cinder and Raven finds and fights them. Then Raven double crosses Cinder by literally stabbing her in the back killing her. After killing Salem and all her minions, Qrow and JNR find and meet up with Ruby then try to escape but before escaping. Raven shows up and offers them a way to escape by opening a portal to Tai or Yang. After they walk through the portal, Ruby, Qrow and JNR meet up with Tai or Yang, they call an ambulance to come and take Ruby to the hospital. At the hospital, QJNR explain everything that happened to Ruby to Tai and Yang.

damn after all that shit that ruby has gone through seeing tyrians head get beaten in was very cathartic only wish it was a little longer to maximise the beauty ruby was very lucky that she caught him off guard tho but i really dont give a shit because again so worth it to see that cunt die il take a guess and say watts is next because she is probably the only one she could take in a fight(if he dosent have an aura) even in this condition i imagine hazel will be killed by yang saying because hazel had a sister and blames oz yang has a sister blames salem/hazel and cinder will probably be wounded by rubys silver eye and ruby will finish her by fucking with one of her eyes and dont know what will happen to salem i doubt she is going to learn the value of humanity or whatever. well anyway cant wait till the next chapter have a nice day

Have Jaune cut off Raven's head. Then in a berserker rage impale Cinder while using his semblance of Aura Amplification augmenting his own strength.

Interesting view about Raven's semblance, hoping trough she will feel a lot of pain now.

i could have gone my whole life without reading anymore of this not because its a bad fic no its the oppisite your so good at writing rubys suffering that i feel really shit inside but if there is more i just gotta know how it ends
