I was looking for a relatively short story tonight - one with a Thanksgiving Day feel to it. I'm so glad that I found this one. My favorite Rick Castle has always been Castle the father and Castle the son. Especially in those early years of the show we saw glimpses of the playboy and the 10-year-old on a sugar rush but down deep the good man who loved his family was always there. You certainly captured that in this story. Thank you!

I am so glad you are writing a sequel! This ended on such a promising note, that I really want to read more, to read of Kate's emotions and her steps forward into acceptance of the growing feelings she has for Castle and he for her, to read about the breathless ,fluttering thrill of their love relationship beginning.

There had better be a sequel in the works, outstanding storytelling. Loved each character and Kate's internal squabbles with herself you captured perfectly.
