This is without a doubt one of the best stories I have read. It's right up there in the top 3 position right after Adrift: Flotation Device and Elven Queen. And your depiction of ADHD was on fucking POINT.I love how you kept it in focus with your main character and made it seem like a story all on its own that just happened to be in the twilight world and i could go on and onbut i would start having problens articulating my self so i will just sat that i will definitely be back to add this multiple times

I'm definitely noticing a theme amongst your stories of the main characters getting over severe emotional upheaval way to fast. they get from angry to forgiving so fast it makes the trauma seem inconsequential, superfluous even. the sort of problems that can take months and years, decades even, of painful work to put behind a person your characters, example lyla, skip over all of that in a moment. it cheapens what they go through. i realise that it can feel like beating a dead horse, but you. eed to stretch that sort of healing out over time. steps. small improvements here and there. not just liight the firecracker and pop it in a couple days. unless I'm missing timeskips or something, you need to slow it down.

It was a great fic, though it'll probably be a while before I pick up another fic revolving around hurt/comfort. I can't handle too many of these at once xD

Yeah... It was a close call, but I think that if an author kills of main characters, it generally happens on a cliffhanger. It was a good chapter, and hopefully the last one where our emotions are taken into a boxing ring.

You know, I had this really sick feeling that maybe the man Lyla married would've been one of the foster dad's that raped Sam, I thank you for your mercy that that's not the case.

That's finally somewhat resolved, hopefully she gets better from here on. I wonder if Lyla will ever find out.

Wait wha? I was pretty sure the first chapter deserved an M rating as it was. You mean this wasn't M rated until this point?

Wow... I mean... I can't really BLAME Lyla, yeah her choice led to some pretty horrifying consequences, but she didn't know that's what would happen, and she couldn't handle caring for a kid at her age either.
Don't know if Sam COULD forgive her, even if she should. Technically no blame lies with Lyla, except for the fact that she didn't tell the truth from the get go, making Sam have false hope.
