Oh my gosh this story arc was absolutely amazing! I'll have to check out the other ones.

Ya know, for someone that doesn't have Danny/Ember as a preferred pairing, you seem to be doing a great job with this particular storyline. Lol. As D/E is my favorite DP ship, I now wonder why I didn't think of having the two feuding flirts tussle in karaoke. I will admit that I'd probably never would've thought to have them try to psych each other out via striptease in such an establishment, though. Brilliant idea.

I now wonder how this'll end if you were to do even more. Lol.

As for your three preferred pairings, I can see Danny/Dora working and, if Kitty finally has enough of Johnny's womanizing bullshit, I definitely know Danny/Kitty could work. But even though I like the idea of Danny/Paulina, that's gonna take her having some serious change of heart. Then again, that might be part of the appeal: Shallow bitch finding out her superhero crush is the so-called "local loser" and is forced to rethink almost everything. I dig your three selections.

As for Danny/Valerie, considering all that happened in the show, I always thought that a continued relationship would strongly depend on how the truth is revealed. Because we all know Danny-boy can't keep that secret forever... And we all know that she might somehow take it the wrong way and therefore, a grudge that'll never die. Still, I can see things somehow working out between the two, depending.

Hmm... Who next? (tries to resist suggesting more Ember) Hmm... Perhaps a Danny/Kitty follow-up with Kitty having just dumped Johnny? I would love to see a follow-up to the Desiree one, as I did enjoy the idea of Desiree noticing that Danny's more than just some pesky hero boy. Maybe Danny does something that inadvertently impresses the genie even more? Hmm... A Dora follow-up would be cool too. I bet it'd be amusing if she ended up in another misunderstanding about modern culture and Danny ends up helping her out.

I got a couple of weird ideas for follow-ups, but I think I'll pass on saying those unless ya wanna hear 'em, as I'm not sure how weird you want to take some of your stories. Lol. Ah well.

Well this was a surprising twist, but I guess it means you aren't necessarily going in order. That gives me hope that we'll get to see the Dora and Desiree follow-ups sooner than later. This chapter was entertaining though, especially the bit at the end.

I guess that's true. I've always wanted a fic where kitty told him the truth when she was overshadowing Paulina and they go from there. Also there is NO way he could have a healthy relationship with Paulina she literally worships his ghost half that's not healthy for anything.

I understand your reasons for seeing Shallow Sapphire working, But I can't for me figure who Danny/Kitty or Danny/Dora would work in your eyes.

Don't get me wrong Danny/Kitty happens to be my second favorite pairing in the series, but after she blackmailed him into staying with her I would find him wary of wanting to be with her.

As for Danny/Dora that one seems interesting and I have not only seen a few attempts at it, but made one myself in the past.

As for Danny/Valerie to be honest for the canon these two seemed like they would have been the best fit in my eyes. Valerie not only got the most character growth out of everyone, but the one thing that could have wreaked their relationship (Her learning the truth) was nerfed hard in the second to last episode when she learned of Halfa's and even went as far as to help Dani. The two of them had far more chemistry than Sam and Danny ever did, and didn't feel forced unlike what we got. But putting all this aside I will get on with the actual review.

Very interesting chapter I have to say. Love the interaction with Danny and Ember, and if I didn't know any better I would have to say Ember is trying to put the moves on Danny in a sense. Shame their time got cut short and their private time was exposed.

Can't wait to see the next one for this.

Thank you I loved it. I have to argue about healthy relationships though (Paulina really?) while I agree Dora and Kitty would be good, Paulina is too much like Sam self centered and egotistical. Star however has potential she will secretly break from Paulina's shadow and do her own thing, this means she can be more accepting of people and new ideas. sorry got off topic.

Well the "enemy with benefits" secret sure didn’t last long, heh but in the end the only ones that matter of the opinion are Danny and Ember themselves.

And indeed, they certainly look good being all "tangled up" because it's a "memento" of their time together.

Given my love of Ember I immediately loved this chapter from the start. Loved how things played out and love their little "enemies but more" thing they have going on~

I also agree with you on the 3 girls he could have a normal relationship with as those three feel like they would be sweet with him (Paulina if she ever found out about his identity, Kitty in general due to her bf being easily distracted from her, and Dora just cause its Dora and she's a sweetie)

Huh, I wasn't sure what to expect when I found this story but I've been presently surprised. You've kept the girls well in character so far, and I like how the follow-ups build on them. Aside from Valerie I'm most interested in seeing what you do with Dora, who doesn't get nearly enough attention from the fandom, and Desiree, who can be a very complex character. Keep up the great work!

Another great chapter. As always, you’ve captured humor and warmth, part of what makes “Danny Phantom” so awesome.
Seriously, of all the women in the series I think are compatible with Danny, Valerie is my last choice. And yet, you manage to make seeing the two of them together like that put a smile on my face. :)
You gotta love that irony concerning Phantom and Fenton, both in pretty much the same situation, with very different results.
That was nice of Valerie, both for watching Danny’s back and trusting him. I have to say, if she discovers Danny Phantom has that picture, she’s not going to be happy. Either she’ll think he stole the phone, Danny loaned it to him, or she’ll put two-and-two together.
I can’t wait for the next chapter.

(By the way, I don’t know if you plan on making a follow-up one-shot, but if you do, could it maybe not have those mature-scenes like the previous ones? I can’t read those. Just asking.)
