Excellent story! I'm glad the Ministry sent Harry, though-if they had sent someone else not so sympathetic, well, there are lots of pork recipes and Severus doesn't need to go back to Britain if he doesn't want to. (If Umbridge had come, I'm sure there are recipes for toad, right?).

I loved this story so much. Seeing Severus settled in with his family was wonderful. How much they care for him! Master Cheng is a great force too. Harry made it through the evening very well indeed. I just wish we could see more of the visit.

That was adorable and heart-warming. It was so reassuring to see Severus home amongst his real family finally. I loved seeing Harry there, and having such a good time. Thanks for writing this, but I hope you won't mind if I say that this doesn't feel complete. It feels like there should be more to me, but then maybe I'm just yearning for more more Snarry. lol

So many years have passed, but his loved ones are still there for him. It was wonderfully heartwarming how they all worked together to bring him home - I had to chuckle over how they packed up all his things and added their 2 cents worth without him asking - just like how family members are apt to do *grins* Master Cheng was a marvel, but then, who else would understand how a Potions Master likes his things just the way they are than a fellow Potions Master? Very nice.

Yun sounds like the precocious little girl she has to be. Love her nickname for Harry! He will soon be another uncle to her, I'm sure *hugs herself at the thought*

Harry is... *happy sigh* His usual charming, happy self *giggles* It must be the jet lag, or perhaps he's just pleased to see Severus again... or it could be the change of scenery, the cooling new clothes or the wonderful feast. Or just all of it...!

I liked how Severus gave him advice, told him who to stick to and got him comfy in new clothes and guest bedroom *tips head towards bed and clears throat meaningfully at Severus who ignores her as usual* Ooh, he didn't hex me, Ree! That gives me hope indeed, yes it does! *beams and is promptly hexed*

The reunion was lovely, the snippets of conversation just how I expected them to be and Severus got to usher in the new year in the bosom of his family *happy sigh* And he got a fish eye to enjoy too! Bonus!

Yes! The return of this 'verse! I can't tell you how much I love the idea of pseudo-Chinese!Severus and his Chinese family. Gaaaaah, please say that we'll be able to see more of Harry in Severus's comfort zone! And more of the family's reactions to him. Particularly Lui and his parents. Because I don't think Severus will be able to fool them about whom the Ministry Inspector is. Heh heh heh.

aw, we should see Severus trying to survive having Harry around for twenty days. Other than that, I do like seeing him in his new home.

Poor Severus, he's got a hyper Harry to manage. I love this verse, though, so I'm really glad to see the new installment of it. Also, Severus being afraid of the matchmakers made me laugh. Great story though, as always!

I'm sorry this is a one shot - any hope of a sequel?
