I like this. Even if I already know what will happen I'm still looking forward to how you present the story.

For some reason, I always read Maz as being the GFFA equivalent of Sophia Petrillo. This hit the nail on ten head exactly. So charming

I love the way Maz tells the story and reprimands the listeners, so easy to visualise sitting around her as one of the crowd.
Poor Han the ladies' man, he really isn't having much luck is he

"Oh, where's my head!" and "Keep your pants on!" - Your crotchety, slightly scatterbrained Maz is charming, and there are flashes of humour in here that made me laugh (e.g. the Death Star; a frightening thing with a "catchy name" HA!). I'm intrigued by the promise of the next part and Maz saying that some of the audience might be "too young" to hear it... Oh, do tell! :)

Ah, this is such an promising thing to have "greatest love story in the galaxy" (I wholeheartedly agree with this) told from Maz POV. She is such an intriguing character and has the experience of centuries in her mind and in her heart, which makes her take on Han and Leias story all the more interesting and enjoyable. I think her grip (which also means yours) on the character is pretty profound and it seems she has been able to read them like an open book. But then it is all in the eyes, is it not?

I enjoyed reading through this a lot, my favorite parts have been when you have described their mostly brief, but meaningful touches and hugs. And then of course there has been the one hug, which has not been brief:"... she run to Han to embrace him ... her arms encircled his waist and his arm pulled her closely to him ... they remained comfortable together still in embrace." And both of them are unconditionally happy in this while sharing this physical nearness.

To me Maz has gotten tired far too early, I would have loved to hear more of this and I can assure you I am not too young for anything that might be in the next part. Thank you to Chilimt and Maz for sharing this very special and unique story!

I know Han is your true love but he really should take relationship advice from Chewie. He's never had problems with women, even when they were someone else's wives.
