Sevenacres chapter 6 . 3/12/2017 LOVED this story! It felt like it ended so soon after 6 chapters. Agree with other reviewers and hope you will continue to write more about the Markov family. It would be interesting to see how other law enforcement will react to Tim being the son of a former mob boss (yes I read Trusting the FBI) and to delve more into their past. Thank you FH! |
hostaqueen chapter 6 . 3/11/2017 There is so much to love in this chapter, from the imagery ("the disturbed-pond appearance of the rippled glass") to the support of Gibbs' team (Tony protesting that Tim shouldn't have to give up doing what he loves) to the twist at the end: Papa giving up being Pakhan. It is a wonderfully satisfying resolution. Tim gaining a father and a brother is deeply satisfying. And while I hope Pakhan is able to hand over the reins of power with no challenges from outside gangs (or within), I don't know that that will be possible. You have left the readers with much to allow imaginations to take flight. Thank you. |
Mina chapter 6 . 3/9/2017 I love this story! I'm so happy the team stood by Tim and that Tim's father chose his sons. So much feeling in this story. |
athea781 chapter 6 . 3/9/2017 Oh, I just loved this story. I can't wait for you to continue the story of Toli, Sasha & "Papa". You are planning more I hope. This story is so unique, it needs to be told & only you can do that, right? I'll just wait "patiently" for the next installment in this series... ok? |
Suse B chapter 6 . 3/9/2017 Wow. I was totally not expecting that ending. I can't see people/goons leaving it alone. I'd hope the new Godfather makes it really clear that an attack k on the family is an attack on him, even if they no longer associate. Thanks for the update. I hope to see more! |
Lidil chapter 6 . 3/9/2017 Damn. That's one hell of an ending/beginning. Kudos to you and your Muse for a fine piece of story-telling. |
Carneu chapter 6 . 3/9/2017 Fabulous. Wonderful. And thank you. |
Momcat chapter 6 . 3/9/2017 Well, my dear Findinghero, this was certainly a surprise ending for me ! I was expecting few more chapters of aghast for Tim, not a Pakhan volunteer to leave his position of power to acknowledge his family ! It was weird to see Tim guiding the team rather than Gibbs or Tony. I find that it was rude for the Russians to ignore the team, they aren't in Russia, after all. I can imagine Tim being in a very delicate position, stranded between his beliefs and position in LE and his love for his family, Ziva is surely the best person who can understand him. I didn't understand why Tim would apologize though, he did nothing to harm them, other that trying to hide to protect himself. I was also disappointed at first that his father ignored him at the hospital, but I understand now that he did it to protect him. The scene where they first meet as father and son is touching, his father seemed to have missed him, which is nice. I don't remember if Tim had a loving father figure like that with the McGees or his team in your stories. I can't stop thinking that the codes of behavior in different mafias can be so complicated and confusing too. An outsider surely had to go through some time to learn how the decipher actions and speech ! I wonder if you're thinking of writing a sequel to this story, maybe of Tim starting to re-bond with his father. |
Gottahavemyncis chapter 6 . 3/8/2017 So good, so very very good! Thank you! |
Sevenacres chapter 5 . 3/5/2017 I was so excited to see a new chapter posted. I loved how Ziva happened to have a military grade MS-131a in her bag, like its standard issue to be carrying that around but hey, always be prepared, and curious to know exactly who is tapping in on their conversations. Looking forward to the brothers meeting for coffee and Sasha shed light why Nikolai Markov has stayed in the shadows all these years. Waiting for the father/son reunion, and learn more of Toli's heritage. Thanks for an entertaining read FH. |
mcgeeksgirl chapter 5 . 3/3/2017 So happy to see a new chapter! Glad Tony and Ziva are there, supporting and protecting Tim, along with Gibbs...hope he can confide in them more...will Tim meet with Sasha? Can't wait to read more! |
Gina Callen chapter 5 . 3/3/2017 ROFLMAO, Language! Great chapter, looking forward to more. |
Momcat chapter 5 . 3/3/2017 Hello dear Hero, I was wondering when you would update. Ziva is indeed the only person who can understand what McGee's going through. I'm happy that he has his team to have his back despite them understanding his real identity. It still makes me feel weird when you call him Toli sometimes :) .. Tim may consider Nikolai Markov a good father but I find it hard to believe by the way he ignored his own son at the Hospital. How can he treat his son as a traitor if it was his wife who took him away when he was a kid ? Can he blame him for not wanting to come back to those mafia wars? And I hated the way Ilya treated them as well. But it's so typical for men of power to underestimate others.. |
ronniefranco8 chapter 5 . 3/2/2017 I absolutely love it. And I am so waiting for the next update. And I love the added humor in the end. And his father knew about him for seven years? oh my gosh, I need to know the interaction between him and his father! Oh and Gibbs and his father! And his father and Ziva and Tony and everyone! I'm so excited for the next chapter! |
Lidil chapter 5 . 3/2/2017 And the tension keeps on building. |
