Loved it! From start to finish. Excellent job across the board! Wonderful friendship moments, interesting side plot, and Bones as the one who's stuck as a child for once and everyone has to take care of him! Usually it's either Jim or Spock. Nice to finally see a well written one with Bones in that scenario. I've been searching for a fic like this for a long time. Very glad I finally found it! Awesome job once again.

Young McCoy is so cute and the stuffed sehlat is a great addition. Thanks for sharing.

Fifteen chapters all at once!? I was surprised to find the "next" button, thinking it was a first-chapter only - what a great surprise! Thank you!

There are kid!Spocks and Kirks out there, particularly a lengthy two by KCS - her kid!Kirk story actually has some lovely McCoy and Spock interaction and a serious addressing of the Mirror, Mirror meld and its associated implications (i.e. Spock finds out and goes protective!) but to my knowledge no one's ever seriously attempted a kid!Bones and it SO needed to be done. He spends so much time taking care of everybody else, he deserves to be the one taken care of for once. I thought he'd be hard to translate into a child, but so far he seems perfectly in character. I do wonder, as the characters do, about his familiarity with hospitals and those nightmares - makes me wonder if he was sick a lot when he was little, or if he had to spend a lot of time with his dad when something was up with his mom (normally little kids aren't even allowed in hospitals unless they're patients, in my experience). Oh, well - he's in good hands!

Well, well, well, I was wondering when this was going to crop up here. I read your fic on AO3 and thoroughly enjoyed it! Your skill with characterization is always wonderful to read and I love your quirky, inventive tales for our crew :) The jump-rope scene had me face-palming and chuckling at the same time :P Poor lil Bones!
