Pity it's abandoned. I actually would have loved to see more of this, especially with Alucard trolling them at every possible chance. (Would've been nice to see Yukari lose her s**t at his trolling)

This. You have, for lack of a better word, perfectly captured the essence of Takahata's Alucard in this one chapter alone. Understandably, you would have to finish the original story first before continuing on but it is not often that I wish a new chapter would come up soon.

A minor issue I have with this story, however, is that you tend capitalize words like 'it', 'in' and 'is' quite often. It is a bit jarring and can potentially turn some people away but, like I said, it is a minor issue.

Keep up the work!
