This is good so far, intriguing certainly! We're taking a character (Millie) and exploring her story...I'm assuming she's the niece from the second portion of the story? Anyhoo, it looks like there's a bit of influence from both the novel and the film (the brother thing, at any rate), and I'm curious to see where you take this.

This is not a point of view usually focused on, so this was definitely fun and interesting to read. My only peeve here is the occasional spelling errors, which are a bit distracting. Nonetheless this is quite lovely!

Personally, I have always shipped Griffin with Dr. Kemp. I have a feeling that Griffin being an albino, and hence being different to everyone, is a metaphor pf him being gay.
