Gracie15Trowa chapter 9 . 8/4 That was awesome so good ... |
Darkneostar1 chapter 9 . 4/23 Absolutely loved this fanfic. You helped give a different yet unique depth to some characters I've never thought about in such a way before. Somewhat surprised Aerith did not have a chapter though. Truly one of the best FF7 fanfics I've read. |
Shiroi Majo chapter 9 . 10/23/2018 Beautiful. |
zabalaskid chapter 8 . 8/25/2018 Dude. This was amazing. |
MercifulPeaceGraceWisteria chapter 9 . 3/12/2018 Almost a year late to the party, but this seriously deserved a review and a favorite. Your writing in this work is incredible. You seem to capture the emotions perfectly in each chapter and present a new dimension to all of the characters, even when only looking at it through the eyes of one. Truly an amazing job. You have my gratitude. Thank you for writing this, I will most likely come back to read this in the time to come. |
Shade the Hero chapter 9 . 7/16/2017 No, you've got that wrong. Thank YOU for writing this. It's amazing. I've read countless stories about Zack and Cloud and Reno and the rest of the gang, but never have they been shown in such light. I am to this story as Angeal is to Zack's sketchbook. |
Shade the Hero chapter 8 . 7/16/2017 Oh...my...wow. Just wow. I am stunned by this masterpiece. I love how this chapter showed what happened to the others, especially the perfect answer for both Gen and Cloud, and Sephiroth and Reno and everyone! It's amazing and will stay in my favs forever. |

Ueue96 chapter 9 . 6/25/2017 Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! |
Divanora chapter 9 . 6/25/2017 I'm not ashamed to admit that you had me tearing up on some of these chapters - especially Scarlet's, which was a surprise! If more people saw others the way your Zack sees them, the world would be a much better place Thanks for sharing |
Guest chapter 9 . 6/24/2017 Have absolutely loved this and the loving attention you gave to describing the sketches! I could almost smell the paper and pencil! You by no means need to do more with this, but I know it would be loved! An earworm in that vein: have the sketchbook be found by someone post AC or etc, maybe one of the Turks and have it passed on to Cloud. Happy/sad feels all around! Again fantastic work! Chikyu |
UnLike Us chapter 8 . 6/24/2017 Gosh... I, had lots to say when I started reading this chapter. But I can't think of anything through the tears. Let me come back to this when I've stopped crying. *sniff* Right. First of all thank you so much for writing this. It somehow moved me immensely and I went of to paint for the first time in... I don't know. A year? A quick thing. But immensely refreshing. You got my juices boiling! The the chapter by explain all the ways that seeing the people Angela knows through Zack's illustrations has changed and developed the relationships with the people who he meets and knows. Lovely mention of Cloud being adopted by Genesis by the way. It was the first real proof that the events of FFVII are different his time round. Absolutely loved how Zack's illustration of his mother helped Angeal get through his darker moments. That was so lovely! (I'm tearing up again!) And I don't believe I've ever read a fick where scarlet was represented as you showed her in her relaxed state. Yet I could totally se her in fornt of me with her jeans, T-shirt and dog. Then Angeal getting ready to part ways with the book as the world changes and Zack is all grown up and flying away from under angels wings as a first class. Angeal almost seems safer to part with the sketch book then he does with Zack. Hah! Buuut, I get where your coming from. The sketch book is a powerful tool that has changed Angeals life and through Angeal the life of others. But it is also the private part of Zack that he shows no one. It brings another, interesting, but controversial side to this. How Angeal in a way violates his privacy by snooping in that sketch book. Yet it is too sweet to resist. To moving tho stay away. Zack's self portrait! And it had been there all along too! This was so powerful. Seeing the begging of Zack's adventure in an alien land, while that very man has claimed the power, made that land his home and placed his mark in Shinra and the city its based in, well on his journey to becoming a hero. To at this moment, go back and see the humble beginnings where, no doubt countless boys have bee, and to see the vulnerable, parts that are hidden so deeply under the cheerfulness which is so much of Zack. Once again so powerful, and the way Angeal prays to send his own message to that younger Zack, stuck alone in the public toilets so long ago was really moving! The imagery was so well done it totally drew me in and I had the sense that something profound was happening even before I understood what Angeal was doing. The last sentence where he Closed the book was so jarring, breaking the spell. Yet I was still very much in it and felt like I just stepped right into a wall. Jarring, but I was left with profoundly stirred emotions. Thank you so much for writing this. And thanks to myself for reading this. |
Doudouille chapter 1 . 6/24/2017 This... this story was so beautiful. I loved each and every detail of those drawings, their words, and the meaning behind all of them. I think my favorite was Scarlett. Thought all of them were heartwarming. And the last chapter, between the actions Angeal took and Zack's self portrait, was a fantastic ending. Thank you so much for sharing this wonderful fanfic. Favorite. No need to think. Done. |
Shade the Hero chapter 7 . 6/18/2017 This is nothing short than the complete and utmost respect for the blonde warrior. And this is coming from a Cloud Strife fangirl, so take what I say to heart. I have read some of the most amazing fics on here and they have described Cloud well, but the way you carefully worded the way he looked on paper and the very essence of his soul...it has done him the ultimate justice. I've never seen him described better. This story shall remain in my favs forever. |
