Really enjoying this story so far, sucks that you haven’t updated in awhile. I like the more and exposition of the story but I feel like there isn’t enough dialogue or interaction between the characters. It’s mostly all tell and not show if you get what I mean. I feel like the story would be even better if there were more dialogue between the characters. Another thing that could be improved on is how the characters speak in the story, it feels unnatural because the story is pretty much set in medieval times but the dialogue doesn’t reflect it. But I can understand that it’s hard to pull off old English. It would have been interesting to see more interactions between Jon and his wife, I don’t think they’ve even held a conversation so far and he already has a child. Besides the grammar issues, I really liked this story and hope it gets updated soon. Until next time.

to tell you the truth in this chapter jon is acting more like jofferry. He leaves winterfell without telling anyone. His father thinks he he dead. He comes back without an apology and shows his new sword to his father like that will make it better. And starts demanding and crying he is the heir. If I was in neds place I would have sent him to the wall. He had been touring the free cities and knows nothing of the north and wants to lead it without any regard to others. Pathetic

I know this fic is probably over. Loved what I got and if possible look forwards to more of the same.

Aw, I thought the story of Jon's exile would be interesting, like maybe the Tullys tried to have him assassinated or something. To find out that it was merely self-imposed was rather disappointing

Pretty good. The building rate is a little rushed considering the times but other than that its a good story.

However Jon hasn't shown much of a builder mentality at all so far. Just a construction worker in that one scene. But not the second coming of Bran the Builder that your previous chapters pointed to.

Good story, I look forward to reading more once you finish writing the chapters and seeing where it will end.

The biggest thing I took away from this story is that you have absolutely no idea how fighting works—especially not ones involving swords.
