I like this explenation. I like how you wrote Eurus' emotions. I like the idea of vortex. And the final conclusion was wonderful.

I think you deciphered Eurus perfectly. She was after Sherlock, her favorite, not to kill but to manipulate him. Risking his life with the drone was a big risk to the game, but demonstrated the mettle off the other players. You even had a reasonable explanation for her saying that screaming Sherlock was laughing. Bravo!

Interesting take on what's going on in Eurus head. You know, I realize Mofftiss could have attempted doing more to explain her, but I'm not sure further explanation would have actually made much difference. She's pretty inexplicable to most people. The important thing to me is that Sherlock realizes she's in distress and wants him to be her answer, and he realizes later that he has a language that can be used to reach her, as far as she can be reached.
