Why would you want to make someone’s like hell like or even just difficult if you have a genuine crush on them? Shouldn’t you want to make their lives better?

Harry is like 5’6-5’8 or so.

The concept is great, but I find it highly unlikely that anyone would be sorted differently by their 8th year. Your house forms you into whom you are and if youve spend the last 7years being formed, then your not going to change your entire personality the instant you're resorted.

Just began reading your story and I was a little confused. Since you asked, the constant change of POVs slows the pace. For example; if 3 characters interact at Hogsmeade you are telling us the same story from 3 different POVs. It can also be confusing if the POVs are substantially different. For example; In chapter 9 Harry and Daphne are in the candy store at the beginning of their date and Harry is buying her a large bag of chocolate. She protests that is too much and he tells her it's his duty as her date. Then in this chapter they are retelling the part in the candy store, but here Daphne is the one getting all the candy and Harry is the one protesting that he isn't made of money. Since this is the same day, we can presume it is the same event. Again, in chapter 9, after they go to the bookstore, they go to the 3 Broomsticks and then to Gladrags to get their clothes for the dance. However in this chapter they go to a different clothing store before they go to the 3 Broomsticks. Harry had forgotten about the event in 10, here he had it on his itinerary.

I think Daphne should start being more open and less secretive towards Harry. Otherwise, the story seems fine so far. I kinda hope Harry starts being less easily manipulated tho. He has had enough of that in his life.

Even if his branch of the family was estranged from the main branch, it isn't like they wouldn't have known about Voldemort. It isn't like they wouldn't also know about Harry since Thomas is related through Lily as well.
