He is talking about humans, and 'a preemptive strike' is a little more accurate.

So it should be: 'A quick string of victories against the Humans could achieve similar results... or better yet, a preemptive strike.'

Hope i am not annoying you with this review, i want to help by pointing out mistakes and hope you will stop yourself from committing them, but i am uncertian if that can be discerned from my writng.

The Salarian Councilor is named Toraph, the man talking to him is named Valern.
It should be; Valern replied to the Councilor.

Hi! In a previous review i posted as a guest Before ch. 42 was published i wrote; "I was curios about Gyre's suggestion that you mentioned, but no comment on ch. 1 or 2 mentioned drive core statics, do you remenber what it was and can you mention it in your author's note in chapter 42?"

I read in the ch. 42 A/N that Life had benn busy but is that piece of infomation available with ch. 44.
I wont nag anymore, i just wanted to see if it was possible to learn that info.

These chapters revolving around diplomacy are my favorites. The Salarian councilor assisting the Alliance was unexpected, but I really like how he's still reasonable and the entire council isn't portrayed as warmongers.

I'd be really interested in seeing just what's happening next between the Alliance and the turians.

Excellent update i'm surprised that the Council have decide to take it this far but at the same time i'm really not surprised given this is the Citadel Council

Human Military Industrial Complex goes brrr

Interesting. The rot in the Citadel seems to point to the early to middle stages of reaper infiltration through indoctrination. The war between the Citadel and the Empire seems to be the perfect way to exhaust galactic forces before the Harvest begins.

Sure, wars seems to be the best way to accelerate technological progress, but what use is more advanced technologies when your people, economy/industry, and military is exhausted/depleted. The Protheans prepared for the reaper invasions and were still caught by surprise. They were fresh and far more technologically advanced than the current Cycle and still lost.

Now we have a somewhat infiltrated galaxy exhausted by war with little to no knowledge of the reaper threat. Ahhh, the perfect setting for a quick and efficient harvest. The Reapers have outdid themselves if they are behind this. If not, then the current races did a pretty good job of doing much of the work for the Reapers, either way the Reapers win.

can you make a codex of what new or different tech everyone has?

Wow, I didn't see the Volus betrayal coming. Poor Toraph is ripe for a heavy burn out. I am curious to see how the Asari will react to this new war, I can't imagine the Republics are happy.
