JJ chapter 36 . 9/7/2018 What a fun (re)read. Definitely one of my favorites (if not THE favorite)! Loved all the different dynamics between the family, master and padawan, etc. Love that the rebellion was mostly led by women and how you allowed the characters to stay true to themselves despite diverging from canon. |
Malinsa chapter 3 . 7/26/2018 AHSOKA SUCKS |
DogsAreTheBest312 chapter 36 . 3/31/2018 I just read this entire thing between today and yesterday. I absolutely love it! Are you planning a sequel? If you decide not to, do I have permission to write one? |
SnowflakesandMozart chapter 36 . 3/10/2018 So as you said in one of your early ANs, this has some rough spots, and you did leave some plot threads dangling, but the inventiveness of the plot, especially in regard to how Luke connects with the Force, compensated for those flaws. I enjoyed it, particularly the chapter where the Jedi came to understand how Luke was perceiving the Force and then the climax. Having Luke become the Master because he killed Palpatine was a particularly satisfying twist. |
Sirius8482 chapter 1 . 1/20/2018 simply amazing |
Super Saiai chapter 36 . 1/13/2018 I love the story, but I find the lack of Death Star disappointing. It's a pivotal plot device in any story set in the Original Trilogy era. You did mention some parts that relate to it, like the scientist, but it wasn't mentioned directly. While I understand the story's focus is the Skywalker family being together, the existence of the Death Star isn't something you should ignore when writing a Star Wars story set during the Galactic Civil War, especially when the protagonists are high up in the ranks of the Rebellion, much less its very leaders. Even a mention of it's destruction or it's noncompletion would've sufficed. Ah well. Good job though. Keep up the good work. |
Anhelle chapter 36 . 1/11/2018 Thank you for your story. It has been an amazing read! |
Tempest S chapter 36 . 12/19/2017 I don't really understand why Palpatine, not just yours but cannon, was considered so strong. So he could hide himself and shoot lightening from his hands. And? He was good at manipulating people. And? That's not a Force strength, that's an individual, person thing. He was cunning but he never came across as actually strong to me. Yoda was over 900 years old and he still kicked butt. Palpatine always seemed more like a true politician than a force user. He lies, he omits, he manipulates and twists. The lightening was cool but he never showed it until the very end. Luke could do something similar looking later but put people to sleep instead of zap them. |
