Hi - just found this story and wholeheartedly agree - this is how that scene should have played out - loved it, and reading it has cheered up a very miserable Friday in England.

Oh my goodness, if season 5 had ended this way, there might only have been 6 seasons of Bones for us to watch and relish, not 12 (or 11 and 1/2 actually). BUT... this is SO perfect, it's a shame it couldn't have happened thus. I loved this. You need to keep writing...more and more and more! If this is the only review you get, and I'm sure it won't be, know that IMO, at least, you've just about achieved perfection here.
