this is honestly one of the best stories i’ve read in a long time. i’m so emotionally invested i was crying the last few chapters. your writing is great and i absolutely love your characterizations. i know this isn’t abandoned but ahh i can’t wait for the next chapter. i’m so excited to find out how things go when the group meets up w/ aang, toph, and sokka! it’s going to be tense, i’m sure! i love the spirit bond and i think it’s just such a beautiful creation. i’m suffering in the angst right now but i have faith that zuko and katara can make it work. thank you for writing such an engaging and wonderful story!

Thank you so much for writing this story. You have reawakened my deep love for this ship. I started reading this fic on AO3 & was gonna die at the cliffhanger. The aangst was killing me (terrible pun intended) so it was a huge relief when I got here and saw after a lot more angst that they finally get to be together. I don't know if you'll update again, but I hope you do because I already miss it. I won't lie though, I feel like we are at the part of plot that would be the hardest to write. Separating them and then getting them through the machinations of war apart from one another while keeping their stories intertwined and then bringing them back together in the end are probably the most complex plot points that you've had to map out so far. So in a way I understand why it's been years especially if there's writer's block or a muse gone astray. My muse for this ship had disappeared for a while until I read this story.

It only took me a day to binge this story it's so good and I feel so emotionally invested in it already. It's been such a long time since I've felt that way about a fanfic. I'm sad to think there may not be more, but you've helped me remember precisely why Katara and Zuko are meant to be together. Good luck to you.

This is so good. With most aged-up zutara fanfics they don't make the characters feel their age, but your really did. You not only write with good grammar, and write a good plot, but write WELL. I'm so sad this is incomplete bc it's so good.

I started reading this yesterday and it killed me that I had to stop with five chapters left because I had to be up early this morning. I've been thinking about this story all day and couldn't wait to get home to finish it.
It's a shame you haven't updated in a while, I'm hooked and dying to know what happens next. How will Aang and Sokka react? What will there separation be like? Will there be physical and notable changes to them being apart? I've decided that the ending in my head is a happy one and they end up together though I don't know how. I can't bare to think that they do go their separate ways in the end.
I loved your character progression, everything felt natural and it didn't feel rushed and this is one of if not the best Zutara fiction I have read. Thankyou so much for writing and sharing it!
