I think it only fair to tell you that your fic made me cry. A lot. More than once. Not typical for me. And I'm going to have to bookmark and read it again, and get ridiculously emotional, and also laugh at "bless you" and blaming the chicken - pretty sure I snorted. Moana and Maui were both written perfectly in character, the storyline was well paced and plausible, and CHEE-HOO! Let's talk about the shmexy spots, because law have mercy, the heart palpitations - the chemistry between them was lit! (Le pant, le gasp!) Hands down, best fic I've read in years. Bless you for writing this!

So I normally don't wander away from my fandom, but today I stumbled upon a fanart of adult pregnant Moana being held tenderly by Maui. I had to find a story that filled the craving to have more than that little glimpse. It took me a few searches to figure out how Moana was classified. After reading a few titles and getting only a few lines into one that was in a writing style I didn't care for... I found this. It was everything I wanted and more. Exactly what I needed to put a story behind the image I saw, and satisfy the curiosity I hadn't had until today.
I liked how it was Moana that really defeated the demon and that it earned her the life and abilities of a demigod, but even more so that Maui had been willing to give it all up just to be with her. It showed real and very realistic character growth for him. With her bravery and selflessness no one deserves the gift more, also curious as to what she will be the demigoddess of and what island they ended up settling on. Wonderful believable story. Thank you for taking the time and effort to put so much thought into developing a true happily ever after ending.

Haha that apology/proposal was really sweet, and I like that he owned up about the truth. Looks like it got him Pele's favor and now he and Mo can spend eternity together.

I loved this story. the only thing is that for me, I couldn't stop thinking about how much larger than Moana, Maui is in the movie. so those fingers would hurt like hell lol

Sweet! This was a great chapter, and I love how Moana pushed past the spell, though might agree it makes her a bit of a Mary Sue. Maui did say mortals didn't have the strength to overcome that kind of spell. The, I just liked she finally hacked that eel demon to pieces. Maui, lesson for later: NEVER cross your lady, or you next. Still, wonder what'll happen now that the island is all burnt up. Those two did confess to each other. What'll be the next step?

Wow! What an action packed chapter! Mana snatching the hook and killing him herself was a great twist I didn't see coming! The scene with maui swimming towards moana in the sea of eels made me think of princess mononoke. My favorite line was moana describing maui right before he appeared. So much love in that description, so intimate in the way she remembered his eyes and eyelashes and what a great segmay to announcing maui''s arrival!

Interesting and great story. The emotion and drama in it are perfectly blended. So great job and keep it up.

Oooooooohhhhhh! This is amazing!

I love a good drama, and this has pulled me in, and taken me on a whirlwind. I swear Maui and Moana are perfect, mostly because they're both too stubborn for anyone else to handle. Now if Maui hadn't bottled his feelings-or denied admitted them in the first place-not too mention not lie to Moana, things might have turned out differently. Yet I cannot deny how much I enjoyed the tension. Though, half excepted the ocean to give those two a cold shower when they got hot and heavy. lol That would've been hilarious!

Still, I'm curios to see what happens next. Fishbait is still loose, Pua is clearly possessed, and Moana just ran headfirst into what undoubtedly will be a trap while Maui is left behind. This is gonna be good!
