More often than not we are tempted to simply stick to what we know as everything else does not appear to be sensible or to promise happiness. On the contrary, it means leaving our comfort zone and, in a way, means facing possible loss, delusion, hurt.
You've found the most touching way of depicting this very struggle and the most tender way of showing a reason why it might be worth the trouble after all.
