Vroom-Vroom! Ka-chow! Heya, racer! This was a swell one-shot! I love how you wrote it where Lightning is determined to get better so that he can not have to retire! I love how you portrayed Mater trying to be a supportive friend and is afraid of Lightning crashing again. I can't help wondering if Sally is, too.

It'd be neat if you did another one-shot but with him and Sally. And where Sally admits that she's a little afraid for him, that he'll crash again. But she's more frightened of Lightning missing out on his chance to fight against retirement - voluntarily or otherwise - and him no longer being himself because of it - which is why she goes to Lightning to convince him to get back out there and race.

Anyway, just a thought.

Omg! I love it! My favorite phrase of Lightning: "I decide when I'm done", I think Cars 3 is going to be very different and very emotional too, because I watched Cars since I was little and it was one of my favorite movies, and now watching this new movie is going to be awesome! Also the younger fans as me when Cars was released, right now I think they grown up, same as our dearest Lightning. Anyway! Your stories are awesome, keep up the good work ;)

Can you make a fanfic based on Mater's reaction to McQueen's crash? I feel that he is being left out; especially since we briefly glimpsed his face in the Detroit preview. He looked devastated.
