To be honest I'm disappointed this is like the arc V anime but instead of yuya you have yugo I honestly thought they would be more interaction or more influence between both the realm has switch them with but I see nothing but the same thing if I watch the anime is very disappointing.

You should be proud of yourself, many people believe regard the synchro season in Yugioh Arc V as a very slow season because it's a second tournament (and predictable) arc alongside the Miaimi Championship arc in season 1. I'm looking forward to the changes you're going to bring to the Xyz arc with both Jack and Masumi there instead of Shingo and Gongenzaka. I'm wondering if we will see Jack use the Hot Red dragon Archfiend Abyss, Bane, King Calamity or even Red Nova dragon in your story. Hopefully we'll see Yuya and Yusei really soon as well.

I'm also thinking whether there could be a legacy vs legacy duel coming in this season, if Kaito (Kite in the dub) is brought into your story dueling Jack. That could be an absolute mouth watering duel. Also the idea of Masumi being there as well may cause further conflict between the group and the residents of Heartland as Masumi uses fusion monsters. I look forward to seeing what you come up with.

Your story is good. But stop with the over use of Card of sanctity. It's really redundant

Reading this, I just remembered what I originally wanted to review about.

Now, I do rather like this story, though I'm not here to gush right now. ...Maybe later.

There is just one thing I noticed and it has been eating at me since.

Author-chan! You better have a good reason for YUGO's win record being little higher than 50%! Cause as far as I can see, there isn't one, or at least a good one.

For one, it seems very against Yugo's personality to goof off and not take things seriously like Yuya did. (For that, and many other things, I applaud you.)

But BECAUSE Yugo isn't exactly like Yuya(that's one of the thing I like about this), there is no guarantee their win records should be similar.

For one, Yugo's had Synchro summoning from the very start. Since Arc-V is so extra-deck heavy and the people that can use extra-deck summoning methods are automatically put on a higher tier than those without(which is the majority), he should automatically be a better duelist than about 4/5ths of the populous. IN OTHER WORDS he should be winning more often.

While I was writing this, I reread the beginning where Yuzu was smacking Yugo for getting distracted in duels sometimes, but then what's distracting him?
And also, what could be distracting him SO much that he'd be losing 50% percent of his duels? If it had the potential to be something that would linger, like having to do with Yushou, it would likely motivate him more instead.

I'm not saying have Yugo be unbeatable(though that would certainly be more believable than having a win record of just above 50%...), I'd say losses are at least sometimes bound to happen, though again, the capability to extra deck summon would lower that DRASTICALLY.

This was just eating away at me, that's all, though I suppose that would go to your credit, author-chan. That your story managed to hook me in well enough that stuff like this bothers me to the degree I'd start ranting about it.

(Don't worry, my next review will likely be me gushing)

To wrap this up, sorry if it was a bit harsh I just felt this needed to be said, and possibly corrected. Otherwise though, keep up the good work!
