| headless-nic chapter 8 . 7/1/2017 If one still felt kind of pity for Fanny, I think it might have now disappeared completely. What a horrible person! I think from all JA's characters Fanny along Mrs. Norris from Mansfield Park are the ones that are impossible to like. Some might be a close call, but they are usually bad by circumstance not by nature... Again, a good chapter in which Lady Susan once again grows on one, hoping her plans will work out. |

I think of all JA's characters she is my least favourite In everybody else I could see at least a spark of hidden goodness about them, but with her there is absolutely nothing. Perhaps it is that what has me enjoy her downfall so. |
